  this happened about 6 months ago, didn't really have an opportunity to post about it (been busy), but they still haven't given back his password for the phone hook-up.

  they say that this is direction from the "branch office".

  i think it's complete bs, the real reason why they are doing this is to punish me & my family because i am basically a ghost when it comes to meetings & any type of activity.

  we had an announcement in our cong last week about the upcoming one day assembly.

  the title of the assembly is "imitate jehovah".

  i was born into jws, pioneered for 10 years (met my husband at pioneer school).

  had health issues that saw me catapulted away from 'the centre of the cong' and wow what a different place that was!

  i discovered that my 96-year-old grandaunt had named her jw elder as personal representative of her estate and another jw "best friend" as her power of attorney.

  i learned that they used a financial advisor at wells fargo advisors to help raid my grandaunts bank accounts in the years before her death, and then the wt and jws received most of what was left of her estate.

  i am currently working on a book to expose this horrific practice.

  The story is very distressing indeed.

  One of the sites you gave leads to a page where one is requested to contribute money.

  Is it possible that you can supply additional supportive info about this matter regarding your mother? I mean like from authorities etc as this would fully legitimise your appeal and make people feel more comfortable to part with money.

  MIGRAINES are a good one - go and get migraine meds [Just ensure you can take the meds without side effects] - often the cocktail has a tablet for relaxing muscles a bit which makes you dopey too - so you miss the RC day and have a good kip. Or just have the M without the meds ! Who is to know?

  If female I imagine you have a few "hormonal' based options which men cant employ.

  If you are a Depression sufferer [so many JW's are] be down ....you probably are already anyway with the thought of the RC looming. Have an ADD = Acute Doctrinal Distress attack.
