My son graduated last Friday

he is now a graduate from mit!.
it was a lovely weekend.. i got to meet some of the friends he has made in the past four years, and some of their families.. they were very nice, decent, friendly, and enjoyable people.

My "big Girl" graduated with we call a B Comm - Bachelor of Commerce Degree last May and has now started an MBA [ She is 28 now ]
Its such a wonderfully unifying experience for us -

I used to like going on a tour which included Lunch - They ate lavishly.
My SinL used to check the menu ahead of reserving the visit first so that we usually pitched when they were having Roast Lamb and Potatoes etc -
I felt quite entitled by virtue of paying my 'tithes' all them years ago -
