I was TMO for 15 years and RC speaker for many years - it definitely has had a reasonable ++ spinoff - I have also managed to launch a business in Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Training based largely on the skills gained there.

the world cup in russia is being used to launch v.a.r.

it will be very interesting to see if/how it affects the almost obligatory cheating offences of pulling/pushing which occur every time players are in each other's penalty area.

My son graduated last Friday

i have talked about him before on this forum.

he is now a graduate from mit!.

it was a lovely weekend.. i got to meet some of the friends he has made in the past four years, and some of their families.. they were very nice, decent, friendly, and enjoyable people.

My "big Girl" graduated with we call a B Comm - Bachelor of Commerce Degree last May and has now started an MBA [ She is 28 now ]

Its such a wonderfully unifying experience for us -

Why would anyone want to wear a hat with a logo representing any country in the Mondial ? Like the US has got dibs on being the "ever so righteous reference standard" for countries ? All of whom are corrupted.
