  Personal Data Permission (Spain)

  i had the meeting yesterday and there it was announced that there will be a new law passed in spain regarding personal data.

  that law makes it compulsory for the wt spanish branch to collect a signed permission from the publishers to keep and utilize personal data.

  no choice was given to us, we were just told to make sure we hand in our signed permissions before may 18th.

  They have previously also told Secretaries to Insist that copies of the Blood Cards be handed to him for "safe-keeping" on File ......

  They don't OWN you and they cannot Strong-Arm you - Don't allow them to walk all over you.

  Sometime soon you will have to Walk the Talk re: their 'shite' wheelings and dealings - and DO your activism against them -

  When they served me with a final deadline to appear before their JC "or we will me without you", I served them with an Attorneys letter informing them the she would be representing me at the JC etc and nothing in the way of actual DF action occurred however the congregants were obviously told privately to shun me - but its not on record ~

  In Numbers 31:15-18, after his soldiers had killed all of the men among the Midianites, Moses ordered his army officers to kill all of the male children, kill all of the nonvirgin females but to save alive all of the virgin girls for his troops. Prior to this, the Israelites had taken all of the animals and goods of the Midianites and then burned all of their towns. If genocide or "ethnic cleansing" is a war crime, then this act of Moses was clearly a war crime…What possible reason could Moses have given in order to justify this horrendous act of genocide? After all, wasn't he the great "law giver"? He claimed that Yahweh, the God of Israel, ordered him to do this, because the Midianites worshiped a deity named Baal Peor. The Midianites felt that Baal Peor was nature's god, the creator of the universe, whereas the Israelites believed that their god Yahweh was the creator. ..   if i go to the jw website and then afterward to say this website, is it likely that the jw website has then tracked what websites i go to after visiting theirs?.

  i don't know how cookies work btw .

  Thirty-Five Years Later

  in the market today, i walked down an aisle and glanced over at a middle-aged man and the woman beside him pushing a shopping cart.

  i couldn't place the man but recognized the somewhat younger woman, a former student.

  when the fellow started talking, i realized it was her brother, also a one-time student.

  Feeling pressure to attend the Memorial?

  feeling pressure to attend the memorial?.

  as a former elder i write this response to hopefully help those genuinely feeling “guilt” before their god.

  if you are a jehovah’s witness or an “ex-jw” (for example, disfellowshipped or lapsed), then i hope that this will be of help to you.

  I went into depression on this day and it worsened toward the time we had to get to the meeting.

  My kids told me in more recent times of how this meeting freaked them out -

  It was even worse when you had to do the Pass the Emblems Detail along with its ritual of passing the wine to the Pass-around elders in some strange and obscure choreographed sequence. All these elders had to be seated and then one would bring the emblems to the group - sitting in the front seats - they would pass it down the line then he would sit and the last one in line would get up and pass it to him and he would then reject it and pass it back to this one who would then return it to the table.

  Worse still was giving the Mem. talk and you had to emphasis that only the anointed partake - just in case some pleb got it wrong. Followed by the big Recruitment Announcement that had to be read out in conclusion.

  Brother Annointed who was always picked to pray over the wine and would pray for several minutes while kids cried and elders coughed loudly trying to signal him to say Amen. So one year my 15 month old son decides this gig is going on too long and shouts out "Amen" during his diatribe - [We DID NOT spank him - mom hugged him tighter ! ]

  anyway, do they meet for field service tomorrow(saturday)?

  do they have their meetings on sunday?

  Oh yes ...Final Push to ditch all those Memorial Invitations - otherwise tomorrow you wake up all guilty coz you didn't get rid of them.

  Off to hairdressers to get the hair done for the great Pass-Around Cebelration tonight

  Polishing of shoes.

  Clean the car as you may be giving lifts to newbies etc

  As our Gran was the maker of the 'Bread' and supplier of the wine she always made a dinner for us to come home to where we polished off the rest of the Wine.

  it became rare, i thought, when considering last weekends study article.

  it became rare, that most of the message is actually quite ok. the gist was to avoid loving oneself, money and pleasures more than god.

  thats ok, if you're a believer.. this was my take until i saw the pictures, and discovered the real message behind the article.. as often, they use pictures to contrast bad and good behaviour (in their eyes at least).
