Grew up as a JW from the age of 9. Was emancipated from the organization when I was disfellowshipped for the second time at the age of 23. Now I am a high school teacher. I teach high school sociology and American literature. My father and brother are active JWs and still continue to shun me and my 2 teenaged sons today. I am now engaged in a relationship with Jesus as my Savior and Heavenly Father.
