1. jehovahs witnesses claim to have no clergy and hence are supposed to be totally unlike christendoms' rulers who get special reverence and lord it over their brothers.
First you have to be brainwashed. You have to believe/accept the "Society" speaks for "god." After that, nothing matters, there is no reasoning. That's why getting out is so difficult. If we could somehow make every "witness" read this, there would be very few that actually saw the reasoning.

I think it's more that it was honoring a DA person, and, yes, the dancing performed would be seen as immoral. And all the baggage that goes with "sister" Jackson that the R&F would be DFd for.

I said the same thing last night; what hypocrites. They're disgusting.
so far here in nyc nothing but light rain and wind, i wish it would stay that way for the duration, but they say so far it's gonna hit hard.. .

and we had tornados in northern california in a powerful storm while this was going down tonight !

just to let you know briefly about me......i was pretty much raised a jw by my mom.
she never let me know my dad because he was "worldly" and was going to die soon.
The others are right; you'll probably never be able to have a relationship with her. When you do talk, don't mention any of what you know to be true about the borg or how you feel. It'll shut her right down.
You won't be able to get her out. If you can talk with her by leaving beliefs out, you might be able to have a limited relationship with her.

when everything in my life crumbled....and i was 1 day from the preliminary court hearing to establish temp custody.....my attorney suggested i have somebody there with me.....for moral and psychological support.
so i called mom.
