Just wanted to say WELCOME and stick by your friend. Inquire about these groups and JW does appeal to many simply because of the Bible Studies - but peel that layer back and don't stop until you know all the layers - not just the top. Good Luck

Zee Sensual Meditation
by refiners fire inhmmmm.
ive been doing a bit of reading of raelian publications, and present some highlights from raels book sensual meditation for your edification.
the book presents 6 lessons in sensual mediation each escalating above the previous lesson in levels of awareness and overcoming irrationally programmed self loathing and societally induced sexual repression.

I am going to try hanging out with you people
by CruithneLaLuna inhello, new member here.. i registered a couple of years ago, but my initial experiences here were not of the warm/fuzzy variety, which must have been what i needed at the time; so, i left.
recenty, a friend gently suggested that i might want to give interacting here a second try.. so's i don't have to type it twice, i offer here a hyperlink to my member profile.. although one might reasonably be named "cruithne" - especially if one is irish or scottish - it is not my real name.
well, of course it is my real name, in that i choose to be known by it.

SO - Are you named for the Near-Earth asteroid 3753 or the first Celtic racio-tribal group to come to the British Isles, appearing between about 800 and 500 B.C.?
Sorry, couldn't help it.......gota love google.com

There are so many stories about that night and my heart went out to everyone stranded in elevators, subways, etc..... I live very close to work and walked home (normal for me) but noticed it was SO quiet (our power went out at work of course) - then the sirens came one and all I could think of was the WTC and our volunerability. So at the 6 story high rise we live in - everyone came out, BBQ'd, drank and played cards into the wee hours in the AM. Of course my 18 month old couldn't sleep and she & Daddy took a walk at 2:30 AM with a flashlight......the police were out, but so was everyone else protecting the areas.
Do you think there'll be a Blackout Baby Boom next April/May?

Hey poms! Did you mislead us?
by ozziepost inshowing on tonite's national news downunder is this piece: .
17:00 aest tue 19 aug 2003. e-mails fuel claims of 'sexed-up' dossier.
revelations that british prime minister tony blair's office apparently authorised a "substantial rewrite" of a controversial dossier on iraq will fuel claims that london exaggerated intelligence data to bolster the case for war on saddam hussein, newspapers said.

Does this mean the UK politicians lied to the media? I thought that was an American trait? Thanks for the bombing post, just clicked on CNN.

NG - I wish you well and think it was open minded of you to join in on this group of believers, non-believers, somewhat-believers and so forth. I'm sorry you won't be around and wonder if we'll ever 'see' you in the future? Enjoy your journey.
Others - Spiritual journeys are just that. They must be explored individually. This is an excellent forum to request information, research and advise. Condemning someone for something they believe is ‘true’ is counterproductive. I may not agree with NG’s personal decision – but that decision is HERS to make. Not YOURS and this isn’t the thread to air that argument out.

Bethany real place?
by peacefulpete inanother interesting bit of info came up at the jesus mysteries forum.
the village of bethany as descrbed in the nt and later jewish works appears to be a work of fiction.
there is no known reference to the city in historical documents.

The 21! Auuuugggggggggggggg! try not to read all the horrid stories about this, it'll only make you feel worse. I'm SO glad you have an appointment with someone you feel comfortable with & with someone your insurance will pay for. I'm keeping my fingers, teos and eyes crossed for you and your family.
You're so right by saying this issue needs to be addressed by men & women and we're all responsible for our own health. What we don't know...may end up hurting us in the long run. Enjoy grilled food (I'm green with envy) and know 'this too shall pass' .
Sending warm fuzzy vibes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
