  i was reading the portion for the christmas eve.. an angel of the lord appeared to the shepherds and told them: "today in the town of david a savior has been born to you; he is the messiah, the lord.

  ..... suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising god and saying:glory to god in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.

  when the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, lets go to bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the lord has told us about.

  A country will not send a costly missile if the desired result is not going to happen.

  Similarly, God will not send a team to accomplish practically nothing while the same team can accomplish immense results if they were sent later at right time to right people!

  What was best for God—sending the army of angel at the time of Jesus’ birth to some shepherds—which brought no gain, or to send the same team at the time of Jesus’s trial, to Rulers or Jurists who can bring about much gain in favor of God’s purpose?

  The very fact that army of angels were sent once means they can be sent again for a worthwhile cause. If they are not sent for the right cause and at right time and to right people means they have not been sent at wrong time at wrong place and to wrong people.

  God will not perform wasteful acts—hence army of angels coming to shepherds makes no sense, serves no purpose!

  What I was referring the pure Christianity of 1st C, directly linked to Jesus Christ!

  Even that script (if at all there were one) was back-fired!

  Ransom teaching is only perpetrating what it was supposed to do away with! Have you not heard JWs (or anyone elser for that matter) praying? We thank you for the blessings … and on the basis of ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ we seek your forgiveness for our sins! Thus Jesus’s death became a license to continue sin and to CONTINUE SEEKING FORGIVENESS!

  I was reading the portion for the Christmas eve.

  An angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds and told them: "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” ….. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying:“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” (Luke 2:8-15)

  If God had sent the same army of angels to the place where Jesus was being tried under false charges and had them repeat those sayings, tailored to the need of the hour, Pontius Pilate, would have ordered the death punishment of the REAL/SADISTIC culprits, instead of Jesus!

  And not only Pilate, the whole Roman Empire would have embraced Christianity (thus pre-empting all the later persecutions brought on innocent Christians)

  thank jah that the faithful & discreet slave has provided an elder's manual for assistance, i mean, it's not as if the bible is any use in such matters.

  Don't worry about their DF standard.

  * I have seen a JC disfellowshipping a person, and another (High Profile) JC cancelling the same disfellowshipping.

  * I have seen the elders giving special attention to a disfellowshipped person (who is very rich materially); and refusing to reciprocating the greetings a disfellowshipped person (who is an ordinary man materially) gave to an elder--both happening in a wedding feast where I was present incognito.

  Why are you afraid of being fooled by anybody? You were probably convinced of JW's extremism and blindness and came out. Good.

  We want to convey the same to thinking JWs.

  What would appear in my post (whether from me or from CO) is intended for JWs (not for ex-JWs)

  The very fact that I am talking only about BIBLE and JWs is more than enough for anyone to know that I am here NOT for any other organization!

  My strategy is simple--Using the same Bible and disproving the Claim of JWs that Bible is their authority!

  My intention is sincere--I wasted half of my life with JWs--I sincerely desire it should not happen to anybody else.

  Let us not spoil the discussion by any type distraction!

  When I speak about Bible, you equate it with some other organization that is, in no way connectected with the Bible or JWs.

  Let me make it clear:

  Our subject is EXTREMISM and BLINDNESS of JWs--nothing else.

  What you said about COs is correct. But this CO is now disillusioned, and is planning to come off the list next year. It seems you did not read what he sent to me:

  Saturday and Sunday he was busy with Assembly, hence could read your replies only last night. This is what he says:

  “I am happy that some of them (ignat, rocketman, island Man, and humbled) could read not only in between the lines but also my heart perfectly!

  I will serve one more year as CO, then I will take voluntary retirement. From this week onward through 2014, I want to start a series in jw.net titled: MY EXPERIMENTS WITH “TRUTH,” a CO opens his heart.

  It may help at least a few not to waste their lives, like me.”

  Thank you for this clue. I was wondering what this BK and Rose Mary are.

  Now when you said: “All of them were coming from the same ISP,” now understand what may have happened. I was transferred to my Head-Office last month. And nature of my work also somewhat changed. To avoid virus problem, I put a requisition for a second computer exclusively for net-related work. Office gave me an old computer. I am posting from this computer as I have somewhat relaxed schedule. I don’t know who was using this computer before me in this company of over 3000 people!

  If you had told me of this earlier, we could have averted much wastages.
