I took this as scientists experiment after some assumption, and found amazing result. You may go ahead and practice. First experience will be this: You will not feel elated when praised nor depressed when snubbed/insulted by others. Because you know who you are. Besides, when you are relaxed, you are more powerful, sharp and wiser. That is good a premise to start with.

There Is No Key To Happiness!
by abiather inreligions make it appear that there is a key to happiness and give the impression that they have the key, and enjoy people always look to them for happiness!.
interestingly, jesus meant there is no key to happiness, but it is the very nature of all human beings.

Theism Makes Science Impossible
by cofty init is not impossible to be a great scientist and a theist - kenneth miller and francis collins are good examples.. however, science depends on methodological naturalism - a working assumption that there are natural causes for observed effects.
please note that methodological naturalism is not the same as ontological naturalism.
in other words scientists may believe in a spirit world or not as long as god is never invoked as an answer.. contrast this with theism which, unlike deism, declares god to be immanent and active in the world.. consider a scientist who is also a theist doing research into the efficacy of a new drug that cures heart disease.

Actually, God has no part in the world-affairs, because he has everything to the automatic mechanism called Law of Cause and Effect, which is omnipresent, impartial, immutable, inexorable and impeccable!
Because man is endowed the knowledge, will-power, and ability, and has an ocean of experience to correct/fine-tune his future actions.
Yet people blame God for being inactive or think he is non-existent! If humans simply avoid all the wastages, everyone on earth can live like kings in palaces!!!

This is the beauty of life. The world is full of lessons. One can take lesson even from Mosquitoes. Even when they see cow breast filled with nutritious milk, they want to SADISTICALLY inflict pain and suck the blood from the breast skin, rather than benefitting from the milk!
When I talk about ELIXIR, you get stumbled over the alphabet E. Here too, You are right, because alphabet E is very much part of the word ELIXIR.
Thank you Wizard of Oz, and punkofnice for being an exception—though endangered species on earth!

Religions make it appear that there is a key to happiness and give the impression that they have the key, and enjoy people always look to them for happiness!
Interestingly, Jesus meant there is no key to happiness, but it is the very nature of all human beings. (Luke 17:21) People like JWs did not even translate this verse properly. The Greek word (ἐντός) should have correctly been translated as “within” as every translation has done elsewhere (Compare Mathew 23:26). What is required is that one should RE-DISCOVER who he is and whom he belongs to, and stabilize in the realization. It is all about unfolding, not about acquiring!
We are the spirit children (of God who is “spirit”) in human form. (John 4:24); hence qualities of the spirit should come NATURALLYto us. That is why the Bible simply commands us to “put on” spirit personality “in true righteousness and holiness,” as if it is done as easily as you change your dress. It simply repeats: “Walk by the spirit,” “serving one another” and manifesting the qualities “of the spirit.” (Galatians 5:13, 16, 22-25)
When one engages in counterfeit happiness, as described in Galatians 5:19-21, those actions do not happen naturally. One seeks privacy before the act, and cover-up after the act, and repeated denial later whenever questioned by others. People impeach or remove even the President of their country for engaging in the works of the flesh.
Once re-discovered that you are happiness, be stable about it, as fire consistently display its qualities of heat and light. This you can do by the following ways:
1) By seeking harmony. Life is all about relationship. You are related to all humans via our heavenly Father (Mathew 23:9) Conflict means wastage of energy. If someone seems to be difficult to deal with, that is because he lives as though in a basement, thinking that is what happiness is all about, and nothing beyond! That means he has not experienced the real happiness that comes from showing genuine love. Hence we can be sympathetic about such people.
2) By refusing to see the mistakes of others. Everyone has an ocean of experiences (his or of others) around him to correct/fine-tune his ways (Mathew 7:3). When you try to control others, you lose your happiness!
3) Know the relationship between all happenings. One thing leads to another. Nothing happens to us which we do not deserve (Isaiah 3:10, 11 and Galatians 6:7). This realization would help us to
say good-bye to the past
enjoy the present and to
welcome the future.

Atheism and Theism are only partly right!
by abiather intoday we know that matter and energy are interchangeable, hence they are there always in either form, they are eternal, hence requires no creator.
hence atheism is right in rejecting a creator, but failed in providing any motivation for people to do good.
religions, in their effort to provide a motivating factor for humans to do good, introduced creation stories and other myths; hence they too are right (as far as their intention is concerned), yet failed in producing any worthy resultsworld was steadily moving from bad to worse and from worse to worst!.

Your question is already answered: “My experience is not an exception. It is a sample of history. History testifies to the human rights abuse of both religionists and atheists (eg. Communists Rule in various countries) if they are given political power.”
Any action should serve some purpose—otherwise should not be done. When atheism came to replace theism, what did it have to offer to the humanity? Or what is the message conveyed unuttered or untaught? ‘There is no creator, hence you can do whatever you want’—this is what most people took. Thus it added to the present sorry state of affair.
Take only one example! What is the number of people killed in all wars, terrorists attack, and accidents in a year? Will it come anywhere near to the number of unborn babies killed in the name of abortion every year—more than 50 million?
You said: “The facts are however that atheists are arguably more moral in certain areas than theists are.”
This is like saying: “The pilot who bombed Japan and saw the after-effects of the bombing later turned into an altruistic (He started Cheshire Homes all over the world for the welfare of the crippled and the orphans).”
But this is not the experience of all the pilots who bomb cities—it is just an exception.

When I speak about CAUSE AND CONSEQUENCES as the sole motivating factor, you speak about something else.
Your comments (and also of Cofty) would be perfectly fitting, when someone writes about some cult in this site.
Anyway, I enjoyed your joke!
We need people like you also, in this stressed out world!

What profound words of wisdom.
What I had in mind loosely, you put it very BEAUTIFULLY, with crisp CLARITY.
You certainly belong to the genus of great preceptors!
Meeting ones like you makes others lives FULFILLED!
When the reader catches MORE THAN the writer, it makes the writer feel HONOURED!
I feel HIGHLY HONOURED to have you commented on my humble posting--REALLY, I mean it.
Thank you--a billion times!

Matter and energy are not the subject of my article.
What I wanted to convey was: both Atheism and theism have equally failed in motivating humans to do good, hence contributed equally to the sorry state of affairs of the world!
When an example of particle is made, there is no need to make an issue of it. We all know that the universe is made of subatomic particles and the intervening space. Subatomic particles carry mass, charge and energy. M-Theory, which could be regarded as the ultimate theory of modern physics, states that all subatomic particles are made of one-dimensional strings. All characteristics of subatomic particles mass, charge and energy arise from the way these strings oscillate. If they oscillate in one particular way, we perceive electrons. If they oscillate in a different way, we perceive protons, and so on. Therefore, we can define the whole universe as countless vibrating strings. However, these strings strictly require multidimensional space (10 spatial dimensions) in order to exist. In other words, empty space is more fundamental than these strings. Without intervening space with extra dimensions, there can be no oscillating strings and hence no universe at all.
Now the question arises: Is empty space is true reality? Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity states that even empty space is not absolute and constant. With extremely high speed travels, the space in-between shrinks. This shows that even the most fundamental entity of the universe, space, changes with respect to circumstances.
If this is the condition of the space in which particles moves, why make an issue of electron? Things are not too simple out there. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle says - loosely - that you can't know with certainty both where an electron is and where it's going next. (What it actually says is that it is impossible to define with absolute precision, at the same time, both the position and the momentum of an electron.)
Hence let us forget about particles, and come back to the subject:
Atheism and Theism cannot motivate us to be responsible-mined about our actions, but a realizaion of principle of Cause and Effect can! (To convey this was my sole intention). Because
We have knowledge.
We have will-power.
We have ability to do good.
And above all, we have an ocean of experiences of other people to correct/fine-tune our future action!
What else do we need?

When someone says: e = mc2, listener has the freedom to think that he is only talking about English alphabets. Similarly, when I tried to highlight THE REVOLUTION of electron, one has the freedom to think that I am talking about Science. But I was only talking about philosophical aspect of “micro and macro” objects which are spinning themselves. And I was making a comparison to what is happening on earth as history which repeats like a spinning wheel. For example, all religions were good when they started, yet later became a synonym for greed and human rights violation. All of them repeat the same mistake. (Mathew 23:37)
Now let me conclude:
AN ISM SPEAKS THROUGH ITS ADHERENTS.
I have experienced from the adherents of both—atheism and theism—that both are an excuse to do whatever one wants to do.
Atheists do not want to be responsible for their actions, hence reject a Creator.
Theists too do not want to be responsible for their actions, hence they created a God who forgives!
My experience is not an exception. It is a sample of history. History testifies to the human rights abuse of both religionists and atheists (eg. Communists Rule in various countries) if they are given political power.
Hence in effect, both atheism and theism are one and the same!

Today we know that matter and energy are interchangeable, hence they are there always in either form, they are eternal, hence requires no CREATOR. Hence atheism is right in rejecting a creator, but failed in providing any motivation for people to do good. Religions, in their effort to provide a motivating factor for humans to do good, introduced creation stories and other myths; hence they too are right (as far as their intention is concerned), yet failed in producing any worthy results—world was steadily moving from bad to worse and from worse to worst!
It means both atheism and theism did not accomplish much!
Actually truth is very simple! Take something very fundamental like an electron. It moves in the orbit. After completing first revolution, can it rest? Can it change the direction of revolution? Can it change the orbit? It has to move into the same orbit again and again, eternally. What is true of micro is true of the macro also.
Now, move to a greater awareness: Life means to die at every second. In this type of awareness, life is as a strawberry shortcake and as we live we eat pieces of that cake, until there is none. That is death. There is death everywhere. In our body (which is made up of cells) there are always some cells that are dying every moment. There are over 50 millions unborn babies waiting to be killed in the name of abortion every year. There are billions of animals for the slaughter waiting to die, to become tasty meals for us humans…. Thus death rules everywhere! In this type of consciousness, we are aware of being an ignited candle, which will burn away, someday… Thus if life is about dying, then dying should be about living… Because, if what is observed is eternal, then the observer too is eternal. If an individual observer is eternal, the Supreme Observer is also eternal. The ancient wise knew this, hence Abraham named God as “the Eternal” (`Olam, in Hebrew) in Genesis 21:33 and Moses presented Him as “I am that I am.” (Exodus 3:14), which God Himself expanded later as: “I am the Alpha and the Omega … who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)
Most humans are somehow overly concerned with HOW and WHY of things, which gave a fertile ground for atheism and religions! Things happen “because” that is the way it should happen. There is no need to discover the “cause,” when the consequence is the child of that cause. The self-attested truth is that ONE-THING-LEADS-TO-ANOTHER—and this is the immutable, impartial, impeccable, inexorable, and omnipresent rule (and the TRUTH behind all happenings). It has been happening, and it is happening, and it will happen. (Ecclesiastes 1:9, 10)
Knowing this SIMPLE truth sets you free. Because you know, from experience of yours and others, that if you want GOOD results, you need to choose GOOD action. (Isaiah 3:10, 11) You might have observed being moderate is beneficial, whereas extremism is not beneficial. This is something we can see proof in our own bodies. When moderation is adopted in sleeping, eating, working, entertainment and thinking, our bodies’ vital organs respond pleasantly, otherwise they malfunction, and may even simply shut down! That means one can choose to drive his life either to comfort or to calamity—it all depends on the choices one makes!
That is the beauty of life—though we cannot reverse what has been done, we can see it, understand it and take lesson for the future!
