the congregation i'm associated with had their assembly recently and i decided to go for one day.
i could not believe how much it felt like one of those mega churches you see on tv.
they've added now 2 very large tv screens on each side of the speaker as well as a monstrous projection screen above.

lots of leaflet campaigns this year.. 1. leaflet campaign to invite people to the memorial.
2. district convention invitations.. 3. campaign to advertise jw.org in august.. .
doesn't leave much time for conversations..
Goal for 2014: In service-year 2014 every congergation will have there territory worked through.
i've been pondering......with this new "push" to direct individuals to thw jw.org website, even when the dubs are out preaching...what do you think the future will be for the preaching work?.
some time ago i read that the mormons have implemented a live chat feature that allows you to speak with their missionaries....i doubt the borg would do this, but i think they have something up their sleeves.. peace.
kool jo.
the future:
- publishers perform short (1 or 2 minutes) offers on the doors - giving the householder a tract or a small business card with QR-Code or JW.ORG
- pioneers have the portable display - also with the goal, that interested people come to JW.ORG
- interested people will ask for a "study" through jw.org
- pioneers or other "high performers" in the congregation will handle the "studies"
you see them all over the place now, 2 or 3 of them standing near a portable display of bible-based literature, chatting to each other.
counting time.. i've seen them in london, glasgow and cluj (romania).
the portable display is always the same.

will the wts be issuing one (or has issued onne already?
) or will the www.jw.org online library be the future?.

This is a list of DCs and year's texts. It shows a different text for 1914.
I do not belief, that the GB will take the same year's text 100 years later.

i ran across a change between the printed edition of the december 15, 2013 wt study edition and the magazine as a pdf download from the jw.org website.. whether the change amounts to much, i'm not sure.
but it is curious.
the change is in paragraph 16 on page 15:.
In the english "Simplified Edition" - there are no differences in par. 16 between print and pdf.
In the spanish "Simplified Edition" - there are also no differences in par. 16 between print and pdf.

@ Bobcat
I saved the PDF on my computer on the 21th October 2013 and it is the same then your posted PDF-Version.
So they must have done this change very early. Very strange.
