  this always bothered me.. so the dust finally settles and your glad your still alive, so the first thing you do is phone your family and friends to see if their ok. no signal.

  ok i'll drive to the kingdom hell to find out what to do.

  driving past all the dead bodies you realise your almost out of petrol, stop at the garage cannot get fuel as there is no power.

  i seriously don't get it.. some people truly hate`jews.. and it's not just jews.... gays, christians, blacks, mexicans, etc.

  are on the list.. intolerance is a terrible thing..

  I haven't really experienced much anti-semetism in my life....a couple of elders could have been prejudice.

  I have a problem with Israeli politics..anyone who expresses this is not anti-semetic. All the Jews in the world could never fit into one country....especially one as small as Israel....why all the fuss....we are every where except the Saudi Emerite countries. No big deal.

  I know it's just short term, plus I text guys from dating sites during the meeting. Prepare well before I go, so I can vent on here if needed. Just laugh at the whole farce in my head. Kate xx

  The hypocrisy makes my brain hurt....-Stuck

  This is called congnitive dissonance. CD causes severe headaches and depression. I am attending meetings again but not suffereing CD. The hypocrisy just makes me laugh as I observe different ones follow the direction blindly and others just disobey everything and try and cover it over.

  If your brain is hurting you need to protect it.

  Does anyone live by any Bible stuff?

  this is not meant to be a slag off the bible thread.. i had a question asked me the other day and it was: 'do you live by anything from the bible?'.

  i had to think about that one because i was force grown in the filthy, disgusting cult of the paedophile loving watchtower(r).. you know what?

  i really don't know if i just naturally am a great bloke or if any 'nice' bits in the bible influenced me......or has western culture been influenced by the bible for good and bad?.

  Well done WMF, but the celibacy is a bit extreme. Being promiscuous is not dignified and becomes mechanical with strangers, but finding someone while we're still young is okay. All the other things I agree with, I do drink also, but in moderation.

  I try and follow Matt 7.12 " Do unto others................".

  But I agree with Laika that Matt Chapters 5-7 the sermon has mostly good advice.

  However I do take exception with Luke 9.23 “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself . . . and follow me continually.” I am not sure if it still the sermon on the mount, but putting Jesus beofre family and personal care needs is not something I agree with.

  Our cong is very zealous all the elders, about 13, are pioneering for the special activity and they are zealed up to the boots. They have annoucements about FS groups every meeting, we have an announcement on Thurs about the final number pioneering.

  The Announcement about the big announcement case, just like the meeting to arrange a meeting. Total nonsense...I am looking forward to this special month as I am turning 41 and feeling 21 again, yipee. 16th Aug special day.

  We also have a London ex JW meetup on the 23rd Aug, when the International RC is on at Twickers. Exciting month ahead.
