Trolley Witnessing with Laika from JWN

a while ago laika came to visit.

we went to town and low and behold the jw trolleys were there doing their thing.. we approached the brother and i introduced laika, the brother was polite.

i then went on to tell him that it was too difficult for me to return and be reinstated.

A while ago Laika came to visit. We went to town and low and behold the JW trolleys were there doing their thing.

We approached the brother and I introduced Laika, the brother was polite. I then went on to tell him that it was too difficult for me to return and be reinstated. I thnk the elders have told them not to engage with me because he did not try and convince me to come back he simply accepted my position.

Hopefully seeing us both in town and knowing I am moving on with my life the brother will start to have some doubts.

What do you think of this approach?

Im still young (19)....just reading Crisis of Conscious

hi guys, ive finally got a copy of coc from my local library, im on page 120ish and im really enjoying it!

the thing that gets me now that im enlightened is how little the rank and file know about anything this organazation does!

everything is so secretive and covered up behind a curtain.

I found it helped me wake up alot. Especially the revelation about the 2/3rds voting. this proved to me that holy spirit wasn't involved with guiding the GB. I think this book helps JWs learn TTATT and helps them stay out.

Have you ever seen a ghost?

i have never seen ghosts, or had any experiences relating to ghosts.

but i know that many have had personal experiences.

if you have had an experience, can you tell me what you think of this experiment as an explaination.

Until science develops a ghost detecting gizmo they don't exist.-sparrowdown

This experiment is basically saying they have detected ghosts, in the minds of believers. That is where ghosts are, in your head. Kate xx

i found this article interesting & just wanted to share.

after going through my teenage years trying to be the perfect jw, i realized that trying to live up to the standards imposed on me have been for worse & not for better.

i was feeling miserable, repressed, unfulfilled, with a great lack of self confidence & self esteem.

Thank you for this find. Very interesting but sad outcome for her wedding night. I became a JW when I was an adult and after I had my first child. I am not in a position to comment, but I would be interested in knowing if any other JWs felt the same on their wedding day.

That was an interesting conversation. She came out with all the expected jw nonesense though. You handled yourself well, I am glad you showed her respect, friendship and gave her your time. You showed her you are nice even though you have left.

Can a JW go home for Christmas ??

jw love to make a big deal about christmas but the reality is alot of people have time off work from christmas to new years.

we like to go home.

with me being an ubm does it become an issue within the cong ?

We always went to visit family at Xmas, it's when the kids were off. We went in the summer too during the 6 weeks holiday they get in England. Kate xx
