Very sad indeed. You know what's in her heart and she knows what's in yours. The trouble is there is no middle ground at the moment. So very sad. I am really sorry. I wish there was some advice I could give you to save your marriage, but you're wife is seriously stuck in cult mode and out to expose you it seems.

i hate to out myself like this... but was watching downton abbey with the wife .
and anyway, there are a lot of high control similarities to the aristocracy and other control groups and cult etc.
there are fascinating bits constantly exposing how the an elite class are self ordained to be in such a position, and completely unqualified in many ways, something not as educated as a lowly school teacher of the time, or not as driven by questioning and truth as a lowly drive, but just do as your told... because... anyway this is not my main point, what i am getting at is in the last episode i caught (spoiler alert) it was a big deal for them to get a "wireless" basically a radio, in the house.. you can constantly see how the establishment is threatened by people being informed or exposed to outside people and ideas.
Maggie Smith is fabulous. She was so funny when she said that. I can see your point why the GB are now losing their mystery and aloofness. I think it's especially true when they speak extemporaneously and say outright silly things.

My husband who was an elder at the time was doubting and I gave him heck over it and it was the beginning oof the end for us. I am now out, he is still in and remarried to another JW sister.- whathappened
OMG what a total hypocrite. So he is in and lying to his new wife, or is he out and living in a divided household. Whatever he did his life must suck now either way.

Oh dear. I am so sorry this happened. Your wife know clearly how you feel and she obviously wants to get it all out into the open. It's awful this argument happened in front of the kids.
I really feel for you. It really looks like divorce may be on the cards, unless you fake it for her which I don't think you will. Besides it won't be any good for the kids if they already know how you feel and that WT is breaking up their family.
Think things through clearly and try not to have a messy future. My divorce was a nightmare and if I can help you in any way to make things smoother for you I will.

family worship night is a boring, depressing, stifling, watchtarded indoctrination/brainwashing session.
it never ends.
like all things wt, there is no end in sight.
I think doing a FW night like this could be good once to see if the other family members are responsive. I then did FW with my son and we studied jwsurvey.org and jwfacts.com. It worked for us. Both my kids are mentally out now.
DD I think you're struggling staying in at the moment you need to skip a couple of meetings perhaps. I am concerned for you.

Very good find. This JW has been struggling a lot during his time in the WT and never really felt comfortable in FS. He has known something was up for a while but probably could not put his finger on it.
I hope he is happier now and out of WT.

being a web developer, i can't help but notice the similarities between the forum ui and bootstrap.
is it based off of bootstrap?
i didn't see any of the tell-tale css or js files when i used my inspector..

so i joined very recently and began posting and commenting without a formal intro.
been reading for a while, decided it was time to jump in.
mentally i am completely cleansed of this thing, but still have to maintain a minimal involvement for spouse and family.

I hope this site will help you progress in your life and your fade. Many fade out with their spouses still in and remain in a happy marriage it can work. Some also talk to their spouses and are able to leave together.
