  Dodgy poetry

  How My Husband Helped Me See TTATT

  i wanted to write my experience on how my husband helped me see the ttatt (the truth about the truth).

  Thanks corruptgirl for telling us your happy ending. Everyone loves a happy ending. I used some of the techniques Sanchy used with you, with my kids. They are awake to TTATT too and it's great for them.

  I think all your points about how Sanchy approached you were excellent and would work with many loved ones.

  My son is not sure about what he has been taught about the common ancestor

  this week my son expressed he is agnostic as he is not sure what to believe about evolution and the common ancestor.. i thought any jw hang ups were gone.

  i told him that what they teach in school is trustworthy and he can be rest assured that there is evidence to support that the common ancestor was the real link to the evolution of humans.. he has got critical thinking skills.

  and responded with "for hundreds of years schools have been teaching things and have changed their thoughts".

  i'm wondering why believers remain members of this forum which is clearly hostile to believers.

  as one member said, nonbelievers pounce on any semblance of belief like piranhas on prey.

  as former jws we should have had our fill of judgmental know-it-alls, but here we are.

  I was referring to the feel of the forum this past week, not just this specific posters contributions - WMF

  What do you mean the feel of the forum? It feels great to me there are lots of new posters and they are all unique with lots of different stories. It feels fine to me and I appreciate all their posts.

  I am glad you're not talking about Believer specifically, all new posters need to feel supported I think.

  It feels like a cult recruitment drive by the usual suspects - WMF

  WMF, It's obvious you dislike people who have a belief, but Believer is not trying you to believe what she believes at all. It is in no way a recruitment drive. If you feel people are pressuring you to do something by what they are expressing then just don't read it. You are jumping to stupid conclusions without any hard evidence.

  Believer, I welcome you here to this board to discuss anything JW related or belief in God. I am here to support you if you need it and so are many others.

  We went to a museum together and looked at all the skulls dating back 7 million years to today.

  He grasped the fact that it's a slow process of change and that it is small changes that take place. So inspite of the fact there are not more skulls and links there is a picture and there is evidence that humans came from a common ancestor.

  I will do some of the recommended reading too.

  Um, how can someone troll their own thread?

  Well Vidiot, WMF obviously doesn't like me. Some posters have predjudices and that's life. It might be something to do with the fact I know more about chemistry than him. Or it might just be because I believe in God. Who knows. But I have got passed caring.

  Phizzy,

  I disagree with you. We can't generalise about posters like that. We don't know who will sign up next.

  Also you can't say that there have never been posters who break the posting rules and name call and use condescending tone.

  Most of the time Simon does address it. But you can't say it never happens.

  A poster made an accusation against me yesterday for trolling. So these things do happen.
