  for instance what has the wt taught about evolution/science or mans existence that is wrong and could possibly change skmeones mind?

  and the more important question, why is it a creator couldnt allow for species to evolve?

  Atheism is NOT a belief system.-nic

  That depends on the individual. I see that it certainly is with many dogmatic Atheists who insist believers are wrong and enter into debates about the existence of God.

  For many Athiests, however it is not a belief system. My mother is an athiest and never discusses God with me. She is simply not interested. She totally changes the subject and asks about the kids schooling or something.

  IMO this term shows his commitment to Atheism, and he is generalising. That just came to mind without me checking on my posts. It was a strange one that had no place in a science book.

  I want to believe it but I don't because reality gets in the way and because I'm not a fool!-nic

  Adam - if you could make your points succinctly I would be more inclined to read them-cofy

  We all have different style of writing, Adam I agree with cofty some of your posts are not as easy to read as other posters, but he could have been less succinct about it and more polite.

  Cofty, Adam is not the only one with that style of writing, go easy on him.
