Are you really surprised? That sounds a tad disingenuous to this poster, after reading your posts on the subject for the past while.

I wonder, how can one justify in their mind to own another person. It doesn't matter
This has always been an issue for me. Some people may laugh, but as a child, I remember reading the books, Beautiful Joe, and Black Beauty, and couldn't understand human cruelty to any living thing. Slavery still exists, and in the western world. Cruelty is a gross injustice, and we need to look to our own culture first (eg, slaughterhouses and factory farms, and abuse / neglect of the elderly and children).
Fix our own back yard, and the world will follow.

by undercover inwhere, exactly, does the bible say that government(s) will turn on religion?
i mean, other than interpreting some crazy visions/dreams from revelation as such?.
with one megalomaniac leading the gop race for nomination to vie for president of the usa, i've noticed that paranoia has ratcheted up a notch or three.

Come on, really?
It's only my opinion, true dat. *smiles* But check out his record after his presidency. I was not a JW, and around during the Iran hostage crisis, and he was 'grace under pressure'. To be honest, I am a great admirer of Carter. It's okay with me if you disagree.
Edit: darn, my 2nd para. didn't post.
He is recognized as an humanitarian, and has done so much good. Imagine if he had been elected, instead of Reagan? Reaganomics is what started the depression we are now in (don't let the economist fool you; it's only fiddling with the numbers that says 'recession', where are the jobs?).
I dunno, I just think that it *might* be a better world, if it was run by Jimmy Carter's standards. xx -

imo, it would be better to refrain from memes that feature them - it's just giving them unwanted attention, and promoting their importance.
Youtube vids that feature actual speeches, show them up for the salesmen they are. I would prefer to see a focus on that salesmanship, and less on mocking individuals (thus making them into martyrs for the cause). That's my two pence. xx
