Nunavut is the new destination for 'need is greater's ? What are they thinking, those poor, brainwashed suckers. At 17, I thought Moncton was cold and dreary, and after one winter there, became a mentally diseased apostate. Going to the land of the midnight sun to preach? It boggles the mind.
And families supporting them - it is hella expensive, even in a big 'city' like Yellowknife, for stuff we take for granted. The more I think about it, the crazier it seems. SMDH
however, i haven't found any evidence to support that belief.. have you?
if so please, show me the evidence that god exists, and i will believe along with you.. criteria:.
(1) you must specify which god you are talking about;.
Re: Intellectual Honesty
I've found the earlier-posted bar chart. It's from a Pew Research Center study:.
The NAS 7% has nothing to do with this chart (ie, the figure is coincidental), and is a somewhat outdated figure from 1998.

"A survey of scientists who are members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press in May and June 2009, finds that members of this group are, on the whole, much less religious than the general public.1 Indeed, the survey shows that scientists are roughly half as likely as the general public to believe in God or a higher power. According to the poll, just over half of scientists (51%) believe in some form of deity or higher power; specifically, 33% of scientists say they believe in God, while 18% believe in a universal spirit or higher power. By contrast, 95% of Americans believe in some form of deity or higher power, according to a survey of the general public conducted by the Pew Research Center in July 2006. Specifically, more than eight-in-ten Americans (83%) say they believe in God and 12% believe in a universal spirit or higher power. Finally, the poll of scientists finds that four-in-ten scientists (41%) say they do not believe in God or a higher power, while the poll of the public finds that only 4% of Americans share this view.

hi, i believe that a lady is put on earth to satisfy the needs of her partner and respect his views in all matters.. i realize some here may consider that old fashioned and not based on sexual equality.. yet a lady and man are not created equal because the lady gives birth and the man must sire many children.
if you are a lady under 30 and keen to meet me, willing to cook and breed, then please message me here.
please do not contact me if you disagree with my views, we can agree to differ.

Ugh...I should've known better than to start this thread..
Are you really surprised? That sounds a tad disingenuous to this poster, after reading your posts on the subject for the past while.
Oh well. Benefit of the doubt rules with me, so yeah, it sucks, hey? Now you know what happens when you ask a provocative question. They need to be thought-out and well-placed, to spark a meaningful debate instead of the usual, and rather boring, display of one-upmanship. xx tal
