STA, so sorry to read of your troubles. Hang on till March 1. I know the value of what I used to call my 'steam valve', ie, therapy. Maybe you can get weekly sessions? It's such a relief, to have that person, who is there to focus on you, and exclusively you, for that 55 minutes (it's never an hour, haha).
If you wish, try 3-step breathing. Sit down, hands on thighs or arms of chair, and breathe in through the nostrils, into your lungs, then a bit more, filling your diaphragm, and then deeper, pushing out your belly. Breathe out through your mouth. And repeat. The focus on breathing helps your mind stop racing. It should help you relax. xx

Did you know? YouTube will automatically TRANSLATE videos. It's easy.
by talesin into see [insert your language here] subtitles on a youtube video:1. click on the "subtitles" icon that is at the bottom of the vid to turn subtitles on.. 2. click on the "tools" icon, then select *subtitles* from the menu to choose your language.. here's google's explanation, if you want more details.
you can also use google translate (steps are in the link) if the vid does not already have subtitles, but it doesn't always work.

I only found out about it a few weeks ago myself, SBF.
We could only wish Earth was like it is on Star Trek. There will always be people who love to learn, but I notice that there are a lot of semi-literate people nowadays. We are being 'dumbed down', which is a shame. Sometimes, I see the future in Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.

anyway george michael and andy ridgley, were two of those fu..k ups, and my brother was quite friendly with both.
as a result i met george and andy before they found fame with wham.. geri hallaway ( spice girl) also came from watford when she grew up and was a friend of my sister ( her mum a j.w) and i once spoke with geri on the phone when she rang asking to speak with my sister.

Dwight Yoakum is a rather greasy-looking character. After his concert, I was with some work friends (did not attend the concert), we were at a cabaret (weeknight, the place was empty). This huge guy came over and asked if I would like to return with his boss to his hotel room. I said "What? Do I look like a prostitute? Get lost."
haha, so he left, and my friend grabbed my arm (she was a big country muzak fan) .... " talesin, that's Dwight Yoakum." I looked over and sho 'nuff, there he sat with his bodyguard. I thought that was a sleazy thing to do, but we are not very star-struck around here.
I worked with Taylor Hackford on Delores Claiborne (I was a stand-in for pre-production location shoots, but he already had someone for the filming). He also directed An Officer and A Gentleman, White Knights, and Ray, as well as many others. Oh, he's a real 'dick', and is married to Helen Mirren.
Worked with (and met) Kelsey Grammar on a straight-to-video flick (it was just ... feckin' .... awful!) as an extra. In one scene, I am standing with him and the other lead, Amanda something, and it's one of those "Look, there I am!" moments. Kelsey Grammar is a real nice guy. And Denny Doherty worked on that one as well - he is a local guy (remember, he was one of the Mamas and Papas, "California Dreamin'). RIP Denny

We have a lot of buskers, too. And there's an International Buskers Festival in the summer. It's been around for a long time, love it. : )

You might want to send Simon a message, if there is no reason for posts to be limited. Especially if you were here when the forum was 'switched over' (for lack of a better term). Some of the accounts aren't working properly, and that's a reason why you see older members with a new id (usually their old name with a number).
