She will know that uncle will be there for her. I've had some recent contact - don't give up hope! Let her know she is good enough, and loved. So sorry to read this. Perhaps, in the end, it will mean she will escape the cult, though the next few years will be rough. She will have you. xx

talesin - The fact that there are unidentified things seen in the skies is one thing and I doubt anyone would suggest there aren't such things. However it is the conclusions that some people jump to that stretch credulity...!You obviously did not check out the story - it crashed into the ocean, and was tracked by both US and Cdn gov't. *shrugs* I am neither a believer nor an unbeliever. I have what is referred to as an 'open mind'. I don't look at fuzzy vids on youtube - this incident caught my eye because it is local, and still a mystery.

atomant - oh, cool! If you were a JW at the time, then you know my family!! xx *grins* And btw, i am nothing like them, and if it weren't for the genetic resemblance, would think I was switched at birth.

Divisions among ex jw activists
by Truthexplorer ini just watched a youtube discussion between marc & cora and unwitness.
it was regarding their unhappiness over a few prominent individuals in the ex jw community, one individual in particular.
this individual who on the one hand produces excellent videos highlighting wt issues, yet has been known to peeve a lot of ex jw activists off.

Listener - I watched the vid, then read the exchange. Tsk, tsk. Yes, the (ahem) "problem" is quite obvious.
Vidiot, I hear you, it all becomes a babble, though her male counterpart is easy on the eyes as well.P

slimboyfat & blondie made news on newshub.com
by LevelThePlayingField ini know, how do i find this stuff, right?
the article is long, so just do a ctrl-f then type in your name... also jehovahs-witness.com mentioned in this article.
"theocratic warfare" is a contentious theological doctrine of the jehovah's witness (jw) movement in christianity.. .

This is the same writer that Barbara Anderson featured in a thread some months ago. He had written a blog article about the nice JWS and their pamphlets, and gave them a great 'rating' as a religion. Well, a LOT of people wrote to him in the comments section about TTATT - he promised to do more research. If you scroll down in his blog, you'll see the article stating that Jehovah's Witnesses pamphlets are misleading and it's a chaotic religion. He did a lot of research, and refuted his first article, point-by-point. His rating changed, with only Scientology being worse than JWS. *grins*
It seems that this blogger has decided to expose more TATT. Great article and tfs.

atomant, here's a link to the story from 1967 re the "Shag Harbour Incident" (Nova Scotia), which involved many witnesses, the RCMP, and NORAD. There's a video on youtube, which I'll also link.
These things don't get discussed much here. It's considered wacko by the science police, along with anything that remotely smells of 'conspiracy' theory ... just a heads-up. This local story is rather interesting, and has never been explained by the government.http://www.ufoevidence.org/Cases/CaseSubarticle.asp?ID=170
,
This video, is from the Discovery Channel, I don't know which show, and it tells the tale of the Shag Harbour Incident. Enjoy. :)

NEW BLOOD CARD w/ FORCED COMPLIANCE also LEGALISM
by apocalypse ini have looked around and i don't see this covered, so i am starting a thread.. 1) the new "blood card" goes beyond being just a "blood card".. 2) a new edict concerning compliance.. pay attention to the changes.. first, the new card is termed "advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment".
the big change with the card itself is that it includes an 'override' of your "power of attorney".
this is huge.

apocalypse, I've been reading your thread, and this is very disturbing. To give over your 'Power of Attorney' ,,, yikes!. If I were a 'fader', I would make sure I had legal matters taken care of, for SURE. Thanks for the post. xx

1 Corinthians 8:8 and Crayola
by rebel8 inafter working a redonkulously long number of hours exercising my fingers and brain, i decided to take a nice walk--you know, to be healthy.i walked to the drug store to get something for my staff--you know, 'cause i'm cool like that.walgreens forced me to walk down the seasonal aisle, against my will, and purchase 90% off easter candy, using its secret weapon (psychology).as i made my way home on my healthy walk, i was forced to eat what may be in the top 10 of the worst easter candy ever made in the entire multiverse since the beginning of time (and by that, i mean 7001 years ago).the first one had a layer of pink flavored goo topped with white crayolas mixed with sugar.
not satisfying.so obviously i had to have another one to satisfy myself, under extreme duress.
blue topping and crayola.

At this moment, homemade butterscotch pie with whipped cream just might be a religious experience. :P -

Ferris Bueller, and life after the JWS
by talesin inferris bueller's day off was an huge flick when i was young, and it's a many-layered story.
i was watching this vid, and realized that one reason i love this movie, is that it could be one metaphor for my life.
i took the lead, did it my way, and have had one helluva lot of fun on the journey.

Politically Correct Wasteland
by freemindfade inthis was a comment i made from another post, but i would like to hear some people discuss this.
i know the social justice warriors will scream i'm some sort of trump supporter for what i say even though i don't agree with his ideas and no i am not voting for him... i accept this is a go to for them.. i think we have fallen into a pc vacuum.. criticizing someones religion = racism!.
telling someone to not be so sensitive = misogyny!.

Exactly.. If I have a topic about overalls, and you think they are a fashion no-no, please spam my thread with derogatory comments about how stupid overalls are.
After all, it's CLEAR that they are not convenient (no trap door), and merely a *fashion statement*, and therefore frivolous. How DARE I start a thread about overalls, when everyone KNOWS that slacks are better? What an idiot I can be sometimes. SMDH :P

I have a Johnnie. She's a blonde bombshell, and has lived a double life. After all these years, I miss her. We made contact a few years ago; it was surreal and brief. I think our relationship is like a Kubrick movie, so complex, yet REAL. Love you always, K. My very first sister-friend, and always.
