  i am bored.. i must not be accustomed to having a normal life or something.

  i have too much time, and nothing to do with it.

  it's been 7 weeks and 3 days since i sent my letter of disassociation.

  For the first time in your life you have days and days of extra time you never had to think about what to do with. Buy a box of tampons and read the label:

  You can dance, swim, read, hot air balloon, scuba dive, travel, write a novel, write poetry, paint, draw, have ecstatic sex, meet the Dalai Lama, learn to play music, compose, climb mountains - you'll have a better time than any of us...

  This is your first and last life. Get out there and enjoy it, don't sit here reading this (ADDICTIVE) board so much!!!

  this question may not make too much sense.

  if a man creates a computer, using the best parts and software design with the intent of analyzing data accurately and reliably, would he also design it with the ability or freedom to 'crash' or spread viruses to other computers if it chose to?

  if a man trains a dog with the intent of being a family pet, would he also give it the knowledge to kill humans or other animals?

  Paul, the eminent Greek philosophy student was just being "clever" to shame his largely ignorant opponents into frightened silence when he wrote that.

  I would love to see how smashing thousands of babies' heads against the door posts of Jericho was wisdom. Maybe they will come back one day and say how "not having a Canaanite Mommy or Daddy was a blessing, as they might have sacrificed me to "BAAL!" (Satan)

  Maybe killing everybody on the planet except you and those who think the same is wisdom... You'd probably be dead in a few days 'cause you can't even skin a rabbit. Maybe an angel will come and skin Bambi for you. Of course if you are in heaven then none of this will matter...

  I have heard replies like yours before. If they were as true as you are trying to terrorise us into believing they should stand up to the scrutiny of logic. Not your "Believe not and you are damned" (as far as you believe) philosophy. WTBS used this sort of reasoning on me for half of my one and only life. It don't work no more...

  HOW busy is this board now?

  am i just imagining it - is it because i now treat my addiction to this site by restricting my time - or is it actual?

  are the topics turning over faster now?

  mouthy said she is finding it hard to keep up so am i. sometimes you need to go back half a dozen pages to see if there was a response to a post.. i wonder, however, if this isn't because people don't choose which section of the forum to post on, they just submit a new post under "active topics" instead of friends , doctrine, blood and medical, humor, adult, or whatever.. you need to get in real quick.

  ok, i took some liberties using john masefields famous book title.

  generally, the uk is a coldish to temperate sort of climate.

  air conditioning is comparitively rare simply because there's not usually much need for it.

  Don't like the Californian fashion for turning up the air conditioning so your guests have to huddle round the artificial log gas fire. But maybe depends who you are huddlin' with.

  Alan_f , I read a disturbing report recently that over 50 odd MILLION (or was it billion?) cubic km of ice cap had melted in Greenland in a period of only a couple of years. (New Scientist or Scientific American).

  In the short term they implied this could mean Arctic winters for western Europe as the gulf stream shut down, but as the greater water volume of the sea absorbs more heat, methane held frozen on the seabeds will vaporise, leading to the sort of devastating rises in temperature seen at the end of the Cretaceous (???)

  How lucky we are to live in the time of the end. Santa Claus is about to drop down our chimneys with a Big Bag of Armageddon to put everything right.

  You need to get in real quick. Eventually I will move on as do we all, and it is great to see newbies discovering things we found out long ago... A bit like seeing your kids fall in love for the first time... But, been there done that. Though it is sad to miss familiar posters.

  If you don't like roundabouts, try visiting a rural one in Greece.

  It seems to be an unspoken rule that horse drawn carriages go round one way and cars and scooters the other!!

  At least some of the busy ones in UK are now 'carousels' - there are traffic lights telling you when you can hop on.

  According to the WTBS all animals before the flood were vegetarians.

  Since God stopped designing and creating new animals after the flood, how are we to explain the amazingly rapid development of pack hunting instincts in wolves?

  The mechanisms were already in place in a latent form, and survival conditions brought them into play. God put that potential to rip Bambi to shreds into them in Eden... just in case a two legged naked biped scoffed a chunch of fruit? I thought God chose not to ascertain what Adam might do?

  I have said elsewhere that any designer whose product could go so disatrously wrong would be in court, not the people who died in his crashed airplane..

  my questions are (besides the obvious): who is going to take the rap eventually for these heretofore unsolved florida murders?

  whose innocent lives may yet rot in jail while this now baptized perpetrator goes free to share in field service and attend meetings?

  whose victims' families are hoping in vain that this baptized felon gets caught while he is being shielded from "secular" prosecution?

  when i came (in the mundane sense), over this board, it was thrilling to find others who had the same viewpoints, insights, and completely opposing shitty religious fairy tales.. after lurking and now, posting, i have to put a clock by my pc.

  no more than half an hour a night.

  (that is why i jump in sometimes, and get folks angry...).

  i read a report in a science mag recently,.

  it said that males who ejaculated more than six times a week in their teens to late 20s were less likely to get prostate cancer.

  godalmighty - does this mean that being good boys now puts us at risk??.
