  Yes lets have the same goverment that sold guns to Mexican drug lords, lecture its law abiding citizens about gun ownership. Wow the inmates are running the assylum with President FUBAR and his Vice Buffoon. Piers Morgan I don't care about, he is a Brit and they are pissed off they let the government take thier guns away,,,,,

  I have heard more moronic arguments from anti-gun people. Fact is that states with Conceal carry Laws have far reduced crime, states with "tough" gun control have higher crime. Always beware of a government which seeks to disarm citizens,,,

  How many people die in auto accidents every year? Where is the fervor to outlaw cars? Seriously,,,, How about address mental illness?

  I am in favor af holding standards for all gun sales, running the same background checks for ALL dealers, but changing clip sizes is stupid and talking about confiscating guns holds a profound lack of intelligence,,,, We have the right to protect ourselves, the police only show up after the shooting is over.

  Bethel perfection bubble burst

  just got back from florida where i spent the holidays with family.

  about half are jdubs.. this year the prevalent atmosphere of superiority from the jw side of the family was totally toned down.

  one of my cousins, a bethelite in upstate ny bethel along with his wife, found out that the wife was having an affair with a young bethelite "brother".

  When I was in Bethel I knew of a few similar situations where the young wife was making whoopie with a young Bethel stud, but it always seemed like the Husbands were off neglecting the wives with other activities and leaving them alone.

  A horrible shame killing yourself when your so young, if only one of us could have connected with the lad,,,,,,

  just think of the logistics to organise a nation of people to accomplish this venture.people who say god provided.... just dont think.. they needed food ,clothing,utensils,tents,tools,fabric,livestock,for food & sacrifice,water,space between families,sanitary facilities,etc.etc.etc.. and don`t forget a generation had to die off before they could enter the promised land.. where is the evidence for any of this.. smiddy.

  whassup guys.

  i've spent most of my web time over the last 2 years at another site full of ex-jdubs...i'd say about 50 people post there on occasion...many of that number regularly.. what struck me from the beginning, as i got to know the people posting there was...how many were now atheists...non-believers in god...the bible...pretty much anything they once held sacred as jw's!.

  i dare say...90 some % do not consider themselves christian now!.

  Question for ex or current :) bethelites

  if any of you have worked in the mail department or are familiar with how mail is handled.

  two questions.

  1. if a letter is sent to the main bethel address and the name is "the governing body of jehovah's witnesses", will that letter reach them or is it opened and read by an underling who decides if it works it's way to them.
