ok... i have to admit that i have been obsessing over the movies the matrix... especially after the second one where some odd things happened.
agent smith was replicating in the matrix, neo was "feeling" and stopping the sentinels in the real world, agent smith copied himself into a human in zion.. now i normally don't obsess over movies... i usually just watch them once and then move on... no big deal.
but this time i have been trying to figure out all of the odd things about the matrix.. i wanted to throw my theories out for everyone to examine and see what you all think.... here goes... remember in the first movie when neo went to see the oracle?

the cd includes the entire new world translation, and a dozen or so books dated back to 1963. also the awakes and dozens of tracts and booklets.
pretty hefty stuff.

I am a little lost with it, but anyone needing copies of any of this stuff is more than welcome to it. As you may know I am sorta "undercover" right now, gathering everything that I can. I have stolen aquired this information directly from family and the Kingdom Hall.

the wts feels that they are the true religion because they place tons of literature based on their own interpretations and because they show true christian love for one another.
this forum is testimony to the validity of their cause so i won't bother to repeat the obvious.
but if a true religion were to exist, i belive it shoud be based on the following:

When "I believe" becomes "we believe" then there is ALWAYS a loss of integrity. Even in your original post on this you base this idea on a LIST. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. .... spirituality is never that simple.
Religion is man-made...........Spirituality is the connection you share with "god"....
You say it should avoid doctrine.... But the list itself IS doctrine. What happens when I want to join this "religion"... but I disagree with #3 or #5 or whatever #...??? Am I then a "sect"?
I think in some ways some have a need for everyone to believe the same. "forsaking the gathering of those who are LIKE MINDED" doesn't necessarily mean... SAME. Which is, in essence what we have here on JWD... LIKE MINDEDNESS(to some degree) without negotiating INTEGRITY. We agree to disagree sometimes. I would leave the religion to those whom it is suited for... follow your own spirituality and share it with those that would share with you.
JMO... though. Yes it sounds better than WTS.... but how long does that last?

it would seem that you are posting copyrighted sections and images which are legal property of watchtower bible and tract society of new york inc. please remove these offending letters and images which are being claimed are used without permission, or provide us a statement which allows you to publish/reproduce this content on your website.
Love your site... factual.. not some "hate monger" site... I would think that in the manner that they distribute their publications to the public, that this falls under the same status as any other "public figure" that you might quote. Also I notice that you are not "selling" anything. OR claiming to author this material... How is that copywrite infringement? You supplied valid credit as to where the info came from, rather than taking credit for it.
Seems to me they would have to take a stand as a Corporation... rather than a religion... in order to prosecute this matter.
But either way.... you did a good thing... they are obviously scared of it or they wouldn't even bother.

With all due respect to Will P. I do not believe that everyone is entitled to say just whatever is on their mind.... yes opinions... but some of the statements made by this person in the past and recently, have gone beyond "opinion" and reached a point of just being mean. Insults are not opinions.
If it is the opinion of a person the "we" or someone on this board blames too much of their problems on this cult, and is expressed in an adult manner then I would be open to listening to it. Perhaps some like me, have blamed a little extra something on the cult... perhaps not.
My concern is for the ones (whom I have personal contact with) who face some serious issues with this thing... may take those comments and not seek the help they need. Maybe for some of the long-time posters here, we have grown beyond those fears and doubts that sink deeply into ones self after leaving this organisation. But for the newer ones ... they still have that fresh fear in them. Face really tough decisions. Come here, and read all the support and love and hope get some real input. . . and then they get this: "aw your just a bunch of whiners"....

Lovely people here though. You are all wonderful. and I hope you continue to share your pain with each other. I have seen through personal e-mails, a lot of growing and healing. I have learned alot from reading these threads. Simon has done something good here, and I appreciate it nonetheless.
