  while reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.

  because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".

  i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

The ground of justification is the obedience and blood-shedding of Christ alone, appropriated through faith alone before any other acts are performed. Our fulfilling the law is the fruit and evidence of being justified by faith. But how and can we justify this faith? In just one scripture it adequately describes how we all let alone this demonstration, of what is to be expected of the Lord. It cannot be purchased in the wrong way because we read in Romans: "By the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction" Why did I have hat scripture because I wanted you to know why I think it isn't "pointless" as you say.

  BB, Viviane is a know-it-all so I guess her brain is shrinking by the day and hour. I'm not a know-it-all, I just believe that God is the true God and I have no plans to stop that please because I have begin to think for myself ever since I quit the organization due to learning TATTT.

  You are very wrong. Children don't know any better to believe in those things but God's faithful followers know better that he exists. Belief in God is not something that's only attributed to children. That's a dumb thing to believe. Lots of great hearted people believe that they were created. And for your information, I am a very mature adult, probably more mature than you, in spirit.

  Even though I don't agree with what you said about the tooth fairy, you're right in most of the things you said. I came here myself to a place where most people don't have faith, so what did I expect? I expected at least some form of respect, and I got it from a FEW great people on here. It's true that I don't have to take the crap by those who disrespect God because at the end of their life, they will be the ones to receive judgement, not me. It's just really hard to imagine that a person could live their life and have no regard for their responsibilities to respect, trust, and serve God. It's just crazy to me, but like you said, everyone is different and has their own motive even if it is crazy and lacks holiness. Again, this is the internet after all, and disrespectful people are inevitable but like you said Lisa, I don't have to take their mess because I have blessings, and they don't.

  So you're okay with people disrespecting other people's belief just because they don't believe the same thing? I thought this was a board with a lot of adults, not children. I'm sure you and others have the capacity to disagree with me without having to resort to disrespecting what I believe in by mocking and treating God like trash all because of your own lack of faith which is not a bad thing, by the way, you just lack it according to my opinion.

  Whatshalllcallmyself, you said I was promoting a mass-murdering God, just stop while you're ahead. God does not permit people to murder as evident in his Ten Commandments to Abraham. And I abide by that rule promptly. Don't put me in the same category with those who use God for promoting their malicious acts because I am not like that nor do I promote it. So please, stop lying. And my belief does deserve respect as I'm not advising any wrongness at all. I'm advising happiness, worship, and overall sanctity involving morals through Jesus Christ. It's silly for you to assume that me, as a God-fearing man, condone murder and other wrongness just because I believe in God. That's prejudice. And you should know that there are loads of other rules that tell of badness that humans should stray away.

  I was being disrespectful and I apologize but let's not act like I wasn't being kind in the beginning. But then a certain someone started to continue to harass and ridicule the Lord just because they don't believe in him and have no intention of believing. The fact that most of you on here will go along with that is just wrong to me. It's sad that most condone the ridicule of God himself on the internet but in real life you never see them saying the things that they say here because they know no one is going for that, but then again, this is the internet afterall like I sad.

  How would we all be here today if you was unable to do anything? But that's just it, you wouldn't be here and neither would I. It's okay to criticize but when you began mocking him that's mean but I see most of you have no remorse and you just speak without thinking all because of the way you feel about guy which is that he doesn't exist which isn't true. At least I don't think it's true but I'm willing to come towards peace but in order to do that, you all need to stop referring to him in that derogatory manner because that's not fair to him or me or anyone else who has faith. Just because you don't believe in it and you think it's wrong doesn't mean you have to continue to to be that way and act that way. Is it really that hard or you just can't control yourselves out of your hate or your own way?

  I feel like you all don't have the common courtesy or respect that everyone deserves. Now I know what you're going to say: "if you want to be respected, have respectable beliefs". But that's just mean and evil because I deserve respect for my belief regardless of wheher you believe they are wrong or not. Now if I was promoting mass murder or other atrocities then that's different but as you can see I'm not and before when I said you will feel God's wrath, I didn't mean him physically destroying you even though he could, I meant that he will come strong at you in judgement. And he should because you guys just mock him instead of respecting him.
