Like I said, you know he's watching your every move. So every time you breathe, cough, and empty, know that he's got his eye on you. Every time you open up your mouth to say he's "impotent", he's giving you another X. You probably have hundreds of bad marks so far and you just love to make it worse for yourself? Huh? And you stand by that pure ignorant notion that he is powerless? No. His defining characteristic is power and domination but his main one is love. And that's why he's still giving you a chance. You know he loves you, Ms. Evil, because if he didn't you'd be gone by now. Trust me, you don't want to see him prove you wrong because that could very well be fatal.

Hello, Ms. Queen of the Devil. I see you are back to your false assumptions of our creator. It's clear that you have made zero steps toward revitalizing your relationship with the Lord. This is to be acclaimed for the entire forum. You are overstepping your boundaries with your pointless and evil opinion. Keep it up, you know who's watching you. -

I don't like the person i am becoming...
by SpunkedTeen ini have not been active here lately just lurking mostly but i have no one to talk to and i need some help i guess.i started working out and became friends with my personal trainer(we went to school together).i started going out with him(lying to my mother about what i was doing, another thing to add to the list of lies,it's becoming too easy!
) and i notice i'm slowly becoming the worldy people that the jw's described.i've become very selfish and rude and very apathetic towards everything and everyone.i always thought the values that jw's taught were really good.if i cut ties with the only friend i have now , i would probably slip into a deep depression and i that is something that i want to avoid at all costs.i start university in january and my plan was to stick it out in the organisation until i got my degree and became fully independant but as of late a elder told me i am being considered to become a m.s and told me what i need to work on and since then the other elders have been nagging me to work on the same things.i'm trying to rid my self of my 'priveleges' in the cong but nothings working...if anyone has experienced a similar situation what advice would you give?
, oh and my mom was always super into the religion having been a pioneer and bethel worker for years but we went to the regional convention two weeks ago and now she is even more exasperating (for example a sister asked my why i was 19 years old and not a ms or serving at bethel yet, which is fine i've learnt how to deal with these questions but when i told my mother whom has always been content with me just being in the religion and never pushed me towards anything asked me if i was happy with what i was and if i would not be happier at bethel or regular pioneering.

We should try to remember when Jesus was born. He was in a stable and his crib which could of been eaten by wild animals at any second. Does that mean he was weak, no. It was the environment that made him vulnerable and in your case, you are very weak. What you need to do is pray to find your feelings about the matter.

There's nothing dangerous about being willing to die for what you believe in. What is dangerous is the people who don't believe in anything up to that point. They cannot treat life with the same outlook the most honest people take and they usually are more likely to kill and die for nothing at all. Those types of people are usually atheists.

What is the purpose of life?
by slimboyfat inwhile reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.
because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".
i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

Our fulfilling the law in loving others is not the ground of our justification. The ground of justification is the obedience and blood-shedding of Christ alone, appropriated through faith alone before any other acts are performed. Our fulfilling the law is the fruit and evidence of being justified by faith. But how and can we justify this faith? In just one scripture it adequately describes how we all let alone this demonstration, of what is to be expected of the Lord. Orphan Crow, I'll have you know that it indeed was not purposeless why and God let his own son go through that. It cannot be purchased in the wrong way because we read in Romans: "By the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction" Why did I have hat scripture because I wanted you to know why I think it isn't "pointless" as you say.

Does everyone else see that? An evildoer decided to speak her idiocy again. It's all she got, though.

Whatshalllcallmyself, just stop. I am in no way promoting mass murder. And by saying I am you are accusin me of actually being that way which I'm not. I believe in the commandments and have no affiliation with those who use God to promote their own warped destructive motives. So please don't put me in the same light as them because that would be prejudice. God does not promote mass murder because if he did he would not have written in the Ten Commandments that we all should not murder. Anyone who knows about Judeo-Christian should know this.
