  What did you find upset elders the most ?

  what i found that upset elders more than most things was, when you made them verify their statement with scriptural backing.. when you showed their complete lack of common sense coupled with lack of christian knowledge.. on one occasion when having a heated discussion, i constantly made them refer to the org.

  book for the answer, they ridiculed me, saying "are you getting your little green book out again".. all i was trying to point out was the answer (according to the society) on the subject at hand, most organisation will have some sort of code of conduct, the little green book was theirs.. they wanted to be right in all things even if it meant going against the org.. kt.

  A few Lancaster, Mass. 7 Day Adventist college students I met door to door years ago called her "Egghead White." She and her husband James ate the same mushrooms that Russell, Barbour, and Miller ate. That rye poisoning stayed in the Northeastern U.S. and got Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and Parley Pratt with more intensity. Lots of New Light, almost as much as Edison's.

  Yes. And then they quote a passage such as "He who endures to the end will be saved," to show that many do not continue the race, and get the prize. How the hell can anyone continue the race in that mad life - only the craziest!

  all society publications from 1950 -1968 pictures showed jesus as a jew who had short hair and was clean shaven???.

  watch 1954 p.511 "why do watchtower books now show jesus with short hair and no beard?....because he is shown that way in representations of him that are older than the traditional effeminate looking pictures.".

  watch 1968 p.286 "bible evidence and a recent review shows that jesus did have a beard.

  Though a flashlight away, I can already see a photon stream being emitted from Crooklyn.

  P.S. New Light! New Light! Electronic monitors will be required for all the heads of households on study night. JWs will be required to buy their own monitors. Stray 100 yards away from the house, and the entire family will be zapped by the Second Death. The WT study article- 'REMEMBER KORAH'.

  Perhaps in each region, folks should set up a site where electronic fake notes can be generated for those unwilling to go to meetings, but need excuses. There could be a phone line where info can be corroborated (1-800-WTS-OVER).
