Come on! Could your perspective be based upon lacking "natural affection?" This man was held in reverence by the "brethren", which is quite different than a brothel or bathhouse tryst. asking for own dossier

i wrote a letter to the elders of the congregation here, in which i ask them to send me my complete dossier, i dont want them to have any information about me left in their hands.. untill now , its 3 weeks left , i got no response.. has anybody experiences with this and how to handle the problem?.
i am planning to go to court to force the elders to give me my dossier about me, because we have a law on privacy here.. can anybody give some advices?

What I found were my publisher cards with all the monthly totals - 2 years per card (both sides), a copy of my pioneer cards from the Society, as well as all the corespondence between the KH and the Society regarding me - but that was in a different locked box (Judicial matters - unlocked at the time I did my search). They had a copy of letters I sent to the Society, as well as letters from the Society with copies of what I had sent to them. Looking back, I should have taken EVERYTHING, and sent it to the publishers, and the rest to the winds.

Just before the end of my Witness career, my pioneer partner (deep into the Greek text and A.T. Robertson's books) asked for his "dossier" - pioneer card, publisher records, etc. and he was flatly told no. He was later disfellowshipped and I stopped door to door and began studying the Scriptures in the original languages, as well as the history of prophetic "interpretation." When I was finally convinced of their errors, I wanted my dossier too, but knew they would never give it to me. I was invited for a J.C. meeting one Thursday night, but that night things were backed up - a drunken m.s. at a party the previous weekend, a sister who was "fooling around" with a bible study, and a sister who had applied for temporary pioneering, but her skirts were too short and her makeup was too "slutty" for the committee. I sat for a long time in the library as they used other K.H. rooms, when it dawned on me... I once was the accounting servant and remembered that many times the locked boxes of records in the Hall were left unlocked. I took a deep breath, checked, and sure enough - unlocked. I took my information and my former wife's information, left the library, and found the room where they were counseling the brother about his half naked dance while intoxicated and told them I didn't have time to wait, and they looked at me with incredulity. I told them, "it's now or never." They said they'd be with me after the "others." I said "cool" and left them to berate Brother Drinker. I left the hall and to this day have my pioneer card and all my publisher records. Quite a few times they visited my home and wanted to know if I ever saw my paperwork or my former wife's. "No. Did you loose that too?" Never once, "how are you?" Instead one brother wanted to punch me out, as another brother restained him.

this omission seems somewhat strange, being that he was so prominant his followers would naturally be curious as to the cause of death of their beloved leader.

Yeah, one could buy for a nickel - 5 novenna candles, a Watchtower, or another religion - souls have are always been cheap. Russell died from dysentery caused by hootch made from Miracle Wheat as well as a dose of Southern clap.

Having been born and raised in Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan, the answer is simple: if you live in Newton, you can't catch the jazz at Wally's (Columbus & Mass. Ave.) This "you've come a long way baby" wants it all ways - she wants all her bases covered, the world, God and the devil's den. But then again, so do most of the Witnesses (these days). My question is, where do I find the bobby headed dolls?

Meetings on sunday... do you know why?

there's a letter from the branch office in chile dated on 01-march-2002, page 3, point n 7 where we can find the reasons they have to prefer sunday for the meetings and not saturday, of course all depends on the quantity of congregations sharing the same kh.
they say that as the co informs, when the congregation has the meeting on sunday there s better averages on the number of people at the kh and the time spended on the field service grow up.

Totally agreed - a day off a week and who knows what they might do, see, read, or whom they may visit. There is also an aside, the distance they wish to create from Adventism and Saturday worship, or being associated with practicing Jews. If they hand out tracts near a church n Sunday, they can have precious differentiation.

Poor JW dies from heat stroke

83 years old and too poor to afford the added electricity of air conditioning on her $500/month social security check, she was found dead in her chair with a fan blowing on her.
