Terror Expert says new attack coming-what do you think?
by IronGland in"all of the warnings we have today indicate that a major strike ?
something more horrible than anything we've seen before ?
is all but inevitable," said yossef bodansky, former director of the u.s. congressional task force on terrorism and unconventional warfare, in an interview yesterday with the jerusalem post.

Removed from being an elder for being over weight?
by frankiespeakin inin the waterbury conneticut area there was a circut overseer named caramelous (greek name not sure of spelling).
this brother more than 30 years back was having all the congregation servants removed because they where over weight.
i guess they used not moderate in habits (eating too much) as a scriptural reason.

Great! Did you take bets on the hot afternoons?
Elder Reduction Centers' (ERCs)
Perhaps there is an opportunity for a fat farm for elders. Seeing that running the microphones hasn't helped, and the number on the 'B' team is miniscule (M.S.), then there should be an offer on the table to the G.B. to sponsor 'Elder Reduction Centers' (ERCs).

Hell the persecution is coming SOON and they want the sisters and brothers to have spiritual food while the senior managers are thrown into a prophetic prison for being witnesses of a false prophetic beast. Maybe we should have a contest of how many of the "Remnant celebrated" in 2004? Anybody take a guess? Anybody care?

??'s for Computer Programmers
by DanTheMan inwell at 34 years of age i'm still wondering what i'm going to do with my life, career-wise.. i have done well in college courses i've taken in math, computer programming, and logic.
also i have a fair amount of experience working as an end-user of various database programs used by my previous and current employers, and i have found that i have a good intuitive knack for understanding the underlying logic that makes them do what they do.
so, i think that i have the mental goods necessary to be a good computer programmer, in fact i feel that i could be a pretty damn good one.. but, with all the out-sourcing, i'm wondering if american computer programmers are a dying breed that will eventually be completely supplanted by indian, chinese, and russian programmers.. so to those of you americans who currently work in the field, do you think that it is foolish to pursue a degree in computer science, given current trends?

Coding on the fly - nebulous specs, no formal methodology, vague demonstrability of deliverables at finite cycles, and voila - the state of the "Art." Barry Boehm and Chris Gaines should be read more often at the outset of projects, hell, Martin still carries more weight with Rubinstein than the initial rollouts of "Extreme."

Doesn't sound like field service agreed with you? Banging too many doors made you wild. Think about some of those folks behind the doors, and the houses we went into. Especially the housing projects in the States and the hood.

I think I'll send a letter to a few of the local congos and ask if they're hiring "microphone handlers." No book studies, the gig 4 times a week, and 3 weeks off a year. Maybe a tired and fading CO might buy into? Nah.

Why .Net vs. J2EE - just curious. The latest product I'm building I tried with .NET and found the UI operatives defective and as a result non-existent. Do you know any GUI builders for .Net architecture that are robust?
