I guess I finally have seen the light thanks to yall
by hambeak inwhen i found this forum i was skeptical, even a few of my topics may have been a bit biting, but i have learned a lot.
after 33 years in the org.
and swallowing everything hook line and sinker for absolute gospel and feeling dirty over nothing wrong.

"Are the rules that hard to follow?"
by rebel8 inoften i hear jws claim that people leave the borg because they cannot follow the rules, implying that anyone who leaves lacks character, self control, and/or moral values.. often i hear jwd posters--me included--say the myriad of rules in the borg is one of (not the only) reason they would not follow the org.
virgochick said it well in the "how do you feel about the name j----?
" thread:.

They say they follow a Master who stated, "My load is kindly and light." What a contrast from the mechanisms of governing, promoted by these vicious dog-men, mean spirited, and controlling as hell. "Kindly and light." What a contrast!

Watchtower deception in the New Tract.........
by AK - Jeff inof course they always use 'loaded language' and assertions out the ass - but on page 3 is what i consider a blatant omission.. on the right margin is a artist rendition of the 'scarlet colored wild beast' of revelation chapter 17. we all know that this beast is considered to be the united nations organization - and that she will turn and devour the harlot in time.. yet the paragraghs on that page never use the term 'un' or 'united nations' - not once!.
instead they use the term 'the world's political powers'.. now you would think that a message of this import should not be cloaking anything that serious, wouldn't one?
could it be that mention of the un in print in this context evokes fear that those at the door may call to mind that the publishers jumped smack in bed with that 'beastlike organization' for over 10 years.. like a man who claims to have repented of a ten year fling with a beastly whore, he might recoil at the very mention of the word 'whore' or 'affair' or 'unfaithful' or 'lying scumbag false religious organization'.?

Having been the wild beast's temporary paramour, I believe the WTS should use the word "harlot" very sparingly.
The WTS is a harlot! The WTS is a lying bitch!

These "prophets" were bailed out by J.R. Brown, and are on their way to Brooklyn Bethel for a hugs and kisses reunion.

Is it time for some new GB members?
by dozy init must be white smoke time shortly at brooklyn , following the death of 2 members in the last year.. by all accounts , there can only be 7 active members....... herd (71 years old) , jackson (51) , lett (57) , losch (63) , morris (56) , pierce (71) and splane (62).. the other 3 are all very aged.
barber (101) is confined to bed , jaracz is in his eighties and (allegedly) has heart trouble and a friend who met jack barr (now 93 years old) in the london bethel this year reckoned that this would be the last time he would be travelling over to the uk as he is very , very frail now.. with new, "grafted in" anointed ones very thin on the ground (and most regarded as certifiable by the r & f) , it is increasingly difficult for the gb to constantly appoint credible new members every few years.
for years now , the wts has increasingly been talking up the growing influence the non-anointed ones (nethinim , "chieftain class etc) are having in wts affairs - is it now the time for "new light"?

Moomin, this guy in the cellar sounds like he has the keys to the Kingdom. Thanks for the heads up, that's what a good agent does. Seems to me that getting a basement position would reflect humility in contrast to a "ground floor position". I want to start working on the new book, called 'The Light Gets Brighter With Candles' then I can begin work on re-writing the history of the JWs, perhaps these will be my first chapters:
Chapter 1 - Russell, the Pyramids, and the Pleiades
Chapter 2 - Rutherford, the Devil, Bottles and Broads
Chapter 3 - Growth, Lean Years, and the Colporteurs
Chapter 4 - Coming into the 20th Century - Phonographs, Bullhorns, and Publishing Presses
Chapter 5 - A Savant Stars at Brooklyn Bethel
That will bring us up to 1975 quickly. I hope to share my writing plans during the interview Friday with the slave.

Thanks Moomin! You'll get your finders fee. I'll be there at 10 with bells on. Should I bring my Shaman stick, beads, and candles? What's the plan?

I keep faxing my resume daily, and haven't heard squat. Maybe I need a headhunter to represent me? Anybody know a good headhunter?

Any anointed ones here?
by Kaput inare there any on this forum who were/are of the anointed?
if you are now out of the organization, do you still have "the calling"?
if you are still in the organization, how do you feel about posting/lurking here?
-
lawrence
I partook my last 2 years in the Organization. As stated before by others on this thread, every Christian should/must partake, "For as often..." This is another reason the WTS is anti-Christ - who the hell gave them the doctrine of 1935 - DEMONS!

House of Spiritual Stuff
by Moomin inlast month, my husband and i went on holiday with my family and stayed in a big house in the norfolk countryside.
the couple who owned the house couldn't afford the upkeep but didn't want to sell.
they made one of the barns habitable for themselves and then rented the house out for holidays.

If they could get their deposit back, they probably would leave; if not, they would "fight darkness in wicked places" by playing Kingdumb songs 7/24, put Watchtowers under every door, KMs on every wall, Bibles in every room, tracts taped to the windows, and they would write a letter to the WTS, "Dear Brothers, what should we do?" They would promise to put an extra 2 shillings in the contribution box for WWW if they made it out without a dark experience. Then again, who is dark? The WTS is more demonized than the Satanists. Now, isn't that a comedy!
