faithful and eager students of the scriptures figured out (and "proved") jesus would return to kill the wicked and reward the meek in 1874. the signs were obvious.

What exactly is a beer belly?

i've always been on the thin side, but i've been drinking too much beer lately and notice something happening above my belt.
it's not really noticeable and is easiliy sucked in, but i'm not happy.

Autumn leaves, preaching door to door mornings with a new tract declaring some disaster. Just this October I had a deja vu of F.S. 30 years ago in Everett, Mass, while walking a Toronto street. I stopped walking and just took it all in - a day in F.S. alone, a few afternoon bible studies, the evening meetings, and then preparing for the next talk into the night, and it all came from the smell of autumn leaves. -

Worked p.t. doing Medical Records at a Children's Hospital, then needed more "independence" to lead the morning F.S. group - washed windows and waxed floors. I sure did love preaching back then - heat, cold, ice, rain, dogs, guns, Catholics, Baptists, bikers, bankers, humming..."from house to house from door to door ..."

as you all know, on one hand the wt says to look back at old issues (however i think that issue itself is 'old') but if you do look back at old issues and point out contradictions, then of course it is 'old', out of date, etc... "that is the beauty of the org, things are revealed blah, blah,.....you know the drill.

My suggestion regarding New Light - WTS stop cutting trees to print HERESY. You started off with demonism, and ended up with demonism, you'll never get it right.
To current JWs reading this board in doubt; don't doubt, get the hell out. These men were always wrong, the only light they had was the damn glory we gave them.

"Pretty" - is like "cute" - let us use "cute" in a sentence, "I was checking out the book my former wife was reading, she raved about it; and I found a guy's name and number marking page 69, cute eh?" And let us add, "wasn't that pretty."
Maybe they were saying "those Witnesses are adorning themselves in a pretty fancy manner for their preached IMMINENT DESTRUCTION."
