around the 39:00 minute mark the focus shifts to a single sister who cannot find a mate.

at the 42:30 minute mark she states "i cannot believe it crossed my mind...to look on jw dating sites".

guess a new unwritten rule is added to the many oral traditions of these pharisees.

Sadly this has become a big problem just about everywhere. WT articles are studied & regional convention programs are presented regarding the natural desire that we all have to find a companion/spouse and the small pool to select from. Hit the hardest are the women. It’s obvious there are a disproportionate number of single sisters to single brothers. Having said that, I have been told many single brothers are often not given a second glance from the women at the KH when they show interest in them.

Why? Simply because these guys were not pioneers, elders or MS’s etc. The sister waits for a better offer. Four weddings occurred in my area recently but the men (30-50 yrs. old) had to marry women from congregations overseas. They appear happy and have started families. The local sisters are still single, lonely and waiting for someone who does more than just carry the microphones.

This September’s broadcasting is clearly showing the general resistance to this asinine teaching launched back in 2010. That’s when I finally had enough and faded completely off the radar never to engage in another JW religious function. Unfortunately my wife still attends. Do I have any regrets? Definitely, I wish I had woken up years earlier like back in 1995 at least, when “this generation” got its first major overhaul.

Here they are again trying to explain how; "the overlapping generation" has to involve "two groups of anointed Christians." These two groups must be "anointed contemporaries" of each other. Also understood are those, "in this second group are themselves advancing in years."

The WTS is trying to emphasize that the second group are quite elderly “advanced in years” in so doing; this should stress the nearness of Armageddon. They have basically gone back to their original idea that these anointed ones are getting old, and will not “pass away before seeing the start of the great tribulation.” This should instill a sense of urgency for JW’s that “little time remains.” It’s the same old doctrine just incorporating or allowing another generation to piggyback on it. It’s all made-up, designed to keep JW’s on the edge believing that the end is “just around the corner.”

Their being locked into the year 1914 is causing all this insanity in trying to teach a doctrine that makes no sense. In time they will just piggyback a third group onto the first two when this teaching becomes untenable.

JWs nearly killed my mother

the past week has been hell for me.

my mother started feeling ill and we went to seek medical assistance.

we live in the mountains and the nearest large hospital is about 150 kms away.

Thanks Pixel and Wifibandit much appreciated. It just gets crazier as time goes on. They are trying too hard to convince everyone that all is well. Talking to those that are still well connected I've been told here in Canada there are areas where the list for substitute CO’s is empty. The reaching out for this assignment is not readily sought after.

In some cases men are being appointed to CO’s to the surprise of many in the area. Actual capable men on the substitute list are not available, so they are forced to use those less qualified to fill the need. It looks good on them. Maybe they will have to call back to work the 70 year old and over guys from their forced retirement.

Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...

greetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.

and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.

but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

Depending on where you lived and how much a “true believer” (gullible) you were, 1975 received a variety of responses. Some continued living their lives as usual working, raising families etc.

I remember a brother, a friend of mine telling me when he was a kid, his father bought a new house in early 1974. The response from the congregation including the PO was caustic, along the lines, “Are you crazy? Aren’t you listening to the talks and counsel coming from the organization? You’ll never live in that house it’s only going to be a distraction, where’s your faith my brother? A few short years later that chastised “faithless” brother became the new Presiding Overseer, raising his kids in a nice new home. The original PO who was involved in the ridiculing fell away due to the 1975 fiasco.

Also I personally know of two family men each with young children at the time (12-14 yrs. old) who felt compelled to sell their houses in 1973. The end never came. Over the years they both exhausted their savings by renting and day-to-day expenses and were unable to reenter the housing market. One is deceased the other is 86 years old still paying rent from a measly government pension.

It seems some today haven’t learned any lessons from the WT’s history. Many couples have been interviewed at the RC for 2015. They have admitted they simplified their lives quitting jobs when necessary….and…..wait…for…it……selling their homes so they could be temporary workers at the Warwick project. The insanity continues. They give up a couple of years of their lives and their real estate to hang wallpaper etc…..then they get their walking papers. Thanks for showing up God bless you all. True insanity and recklessness!!!

March JW Broadcast: Once again disparaging Higher Education - this time in the Music Video.

2015 January Broadcasting – (Anthony Morris) spent half the segment demonizing and attacking higher education on all levels.

2015 February Broadcasting – (Samuel Herd) A video shows an elderly sister reminiscing about her life. It’s interesting that she says to herself, “I never imagined I would be this old in this system of things. Time goes by so fast. I’m on the infirm pioneer list.” She wants to still serve in some way and says, “The young ones especially need our help.”

We now see a scene of a young sister deciding between a college scholarship or filling out a regular pioneer application. This elderly sister is able to convince this young woman to give up an education and a rewarding career but rather hand out WTS tracts for the next 70 years, mission accomplished!!

2015 March Broadcasting – (Gerrit Losch) Again an overt attack on higher education. A young woman in school is handed literature containing colleges & universities to consider. She rejects the literature outright not even giving it an unbiased consideration. She’s heard of all the evils of higher education. Later we see her filling out a regular pioneer application, mission accomplished once again.

I’ve said this before; this must be a huge organizational problem for the WTS leaders that they have to constantly demonize higher education on such a regular basis. It would at least cause one to conclude that this campaign of vilifying higher education is falling on deaf ears. The relentless, unyielding disparaging remarks on extra education must clearly indicate a profound refusal from young ones in listening to any of this crap from the GB. From what I’ve seen and heard from surrounding congregations many young ones are definitely interested in getting extra education if possible.

The reality is most Millennials are not interested in pioneering and if they’re men are even less interested in reaching out to be elders or MS’s. The shortage of young ones that are making any type of full-time service a goal is alarming to the WTS leadership. They are hemorrhaging youth, and young couples that for the most part will not believe blindly or live like their parents did. They saw their parents grow old and their father’s faithful service to the congregation go unappreciated.
