Did the Watchtower Society ban Vaccinations and Organ Transplants?
by Vanderhoven7 inan avid wts supporter writes:.
re: vaccinations: vaccinations have never been banned.
if they were, then no representative of the wts would have been allowed to travel overseas when vaccines were compulsory around 1920 when vaccines was regularly in the news, there was both positive and negative information printed in the golden age (forerunner of the awake) but not from the staff writers, but from out side sources of article by medical doctors at the time and others that responded to those articles.. re: organ transplants: organ transplants were never forbidden by the society.

December 15, 1952 WT Page 764 – “Questions From Readers”
It was only by as late as 1952 that this entire vaccination subject was off loaded by the WTS and left in the hands of congregation members. Prior to this the organization did take a negative view of vaccines. It’s been speculated that vaccines were allowed at this time due to the success of the Gilead School, requiring air travel to foreign lands commonly known for their prevalent diseases causing sickness & death.
Also, the GB leaders were regularly flying to 3rd world countries giving talks in lands known for many illnesses due to little to no vaccination by the population there. The continuing dominance of air travel required passengers to have all vaccinations up to date in order to travel to these poorer countries.

Fascinating Quotations of The Faithful Slave
by Vanderhoven7 indo you have any amazing quotations that have been produced by the faithful slave over the years?.
remember it's important that we should learn to love and value truth for it’s own sake; to respect and honor it by owning and acknowledging it wherever we find it and by whomever presented.
a truth presented by the faithful slave himself is just as true as a truth stated by god.. share some of those amazing quotations that have fascinated you.

Hello Vanderhoven7, I must say I always appreciate your posts. You posted the following.
“we should learn to love and value truth for it’s own sake; to respect and honor it by owning and acknowledging it wherever we find it and by whomever presented. A truth presented by the Faithful Slave himself is just as true as a truth stated by God.”
You referenced that, “A truth presented by the Faithful Slave himself is just as true as a truth stated by God.” I was wondering is that an actual statement appearing in a WT publication, and if so, can you please provide the source of such a statement. I find it extremely bold to equate something written by imperfect men being equated as a “truth stated by God.”
Thank you for your help.

STUDY ARTICLE When a Loved One Leaves Jehovah
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe watchtower—study edition | september 2021. study article 39. when a loved one leaves jehovah.
2 think how heartbroken jehovah must have been when members of his own angelic family turned their back on him!
(jude 6) and imagine how hurt he was at seeing his beloved people, the israelites, rebel against him time and again.

In reading this post it jogged my memory of a similar picture. The last one involved an adult son leaving the home with the distraught parents in the foreground. Now the WT leaders have flipped this around to be the husband/father heading out the front door & the distraught wife & kids in the foreground. Truly this is one religion that will never be reformed.

When Someone We Love Leaves Jehovah
14, 15. What is the real decision that parents of disfellowshipped children must make?
14. Our hearts go out to those parents. After all, their son had a choice, and he chose to pursue his unchristian lifestyle rather than to continue to enjoy close association with his parents and other fellow believers. The parents, on the other hand, had no say in the matter. No wonder they feel helpless!
15. But what will those dear parents do? Will they obey Jehovah’s clear direction? Or will they rationalize that they can have regular association with their disfellowshipped son and call it “necessary family business”? In making their decision, they must not fail to consider how Jehovah feels about what they are doing. His purpose is to keep the organization clean and, if possible, to incite wrongdoers to come to their senses. How can Christian parents support that purpose?

Ban on Independent Meetings
by lssjr insource - march 2021 announcements - - https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/5085868283920384/2021-march-147-english-german-announcements-reminders.
this is a sobering reminder of what happened some 40 years ago when raymond franz and others were literally kicked out from the jehovah's witnesses for having pre-arranged private spiritual discussions.lesson: paragraph 7 is another example of the i and t in dr. steven hassan's bite model of the 21st century cult - information and thought control at its best!!!!
"my gosh, there must be a lot of independent meetings these days.

Here you go Phizzy just as you recollected in the 2007 Sept KM page 3. I was sitting there at the meeting that night when my eyes started to open fully to this micromanaging religion. Just three years later & I was gone for good never stepping foot inside any JW event again.

A Generation Change Again???
by BereanThinker7 ini have heard a few whispers that once again they are going to be changing the generation teaching.
does anybody have on info on this?.
i would love to be able to hit my family with a. .

Supposedly this is the “new light” revision on the “generation teaching” coming out soon. Splane has revisited this subject after giving it prayerful consideration for many months. He has gone back to his whiteboard and now has a clearer understanding. This is sure to put a halt to all the doubters and naysayers trying to corrupt others people’s faith.

Past Watchtower Society Comments On Vaccines
by BluesBrother intoday there is a lot of hope placed in a vaccines to immunise against covid 19 , and relief that they are soon to be available.
that will be shared by the eight million or so jws in this world.
they should be thankful that the wts has moved away from its teaching ,that lasted for decades , proclaiming that vaccination was wrong, and a tool of satan.

Flip-Flop Article in the - WT 1952 Dec 15, p. 764 Questions From Readers
Is vaccination a violation of God’s law forbidding the taking of blood into the system? The matter of vaccination is one for the individual that has to face it to decide for himself. Each individual has to take the consequences for whatever position and action he takes toward a case of compulsory vaccination, doing so according to his own conscience and his appreciation of what is for good health and the interests of advancing God’s work. And our Society cannot afford to be drawn into the affair legally or take the responsibility for the way the case turns out.
After consideration of the matter, it does not appear to us to be in violation of the everlasting covenant made with Noah, as set down in Genesis 9:4, nor contrary to God’s related commandment at Leviticus 17:10-14. Most certainly it cannot reasonably or Scripturally be argued and proved that, by being vaccinated, the inoculated person is either eating or drinking blood and consuming it as food or receiving a blood transfusion. Vaccination does not bear any relationship to or any likeness to the intermarriage of angelic “sons of God” with the daughters of men, as described in Genesis 6:1-4. Neither can it be put in the same class as described at Leviticus 18:23, 24, which forbids the mingling of humans with animals. It has nothing to do with sex relations.
Hence all objection to vaccination on Scriptural grounds seems to be lacking… Medical science, in fact, claims that vaccination actually results in building up the vitality of the blood to resist the disease against which the person is inoculated. But, of course, that is a question for each individual concerned to decide for himself and as he sees it to be Jehovah’s will for him. We merely offer the above information on request, but can assume no responsibility for the decision and course the reader may take.
