Do you need to see the sadness of a childless woman in order to really appreciate the joy of a new baby?
personally, seeing the sadness of a woman with a new baby helped me to appreciate the joy of childlessness ;)
george burns explained it so well in oh god!
part 2.. "you can't have a top without a bottom".. "you can't have sweet without sour".. "you can't have up without down".. "you get rid of sad and happy goes right out the door too".. so now we know why god doesn't want to make life perfect.
it's not natural!.

i'm speaking of something that you either think or know is beyond your present capabilities or circumstances?.

i'd add six inches to my height. ;)
......when you wake up sad and annoyed, and it just goes downhill fast from there?
when all of your clothes make you feel fat, and you want breakfast but you've rummaged through the fridge and all of the cupboards and nothing sounds good, and your cheerful s/o is just making you feel worse with their attempts to make you feel better, and you can't find your favorite book anywhere, and the littlest things get on your nerves for no reason, which just makes you even more irritable because you know you're being childish but can't help it, and everything just plain sucks?
any suggestions for the terminally cranky?.
honey, my tub isn't even equipped with decent water pressure (which is why it STILL hasnt filled up) or a slanted back. sitting in that tub makes my spine feel like it's poking right through my skin. it's tragic.

i'm contemplating crawling back into bed with my second-favorite book, a cup of tea, and a teddy bear, and not getting up for the rest of the day.
as in ....you post something you feel is rather innocuous, or sincere, or perhaps revealing something rather private and honest and candid, and someone blows you away with a nasty comment?.
i am not speaking of heated debates.
if one participates in those, one expects to receive passionate replies which may sometimes hurt.
hmph, and where was dr on this one? he's supposed to protect my virtue like a good brother! he is in so much trouble!! :P
