when you look back at it, what irked you most about being a jw?
dr - oh i most certainly hope not! that MISERABLE little scrap of a costume! i was fully planning on plaing it off like i was a kid, i thought i could pull it off because i'm not terrible tall, but there's a coupla things that frock didnt even close to cover...totally blew my cover. plus i FROZE.
I'm going as a pirate this year :P

actually i did go year before last, but i waited till the last minute to get a costume, so instead of being something scary like i wanted, i had to be a 'sexy angel' because it was the only small adult costume left in the store halloween night..so i just bought it w/out trying it on...and when i went to get ready i got all dolled up and what not and then put on my costume...oh my GOD it was so freakin short i was so embarrassed!!! it seriously barely cleared my bum, and i had to go round holding the darn thing down the entire time i walked....i was SO mortified i cannot even tell you. i looked like i was shrink-wrapped in a pearly plasticky white NAPKIN.
but i did get lots of candy.

i agree drwtsn, and i would have to add missing out on all of the holidays....i always wanted to go trick or treating SO bad....
i was asked how come the bible says that god forgives blasphemy to the father and the son, but not the holy spirit.
if they all are god, what makes the person of the holy spirit more important regarding blasphemy than the father or the son.

mizpah - that's ALL they wanted to talk about, i kept having to steer them away from it forcefully, but they just couldnt get over it.

how many of you attend these monthly meet-ups?
i decided that i will attend one this saturday.
i am a little nervous because i am going alone.. i need to make friends and i though this would be a good place to start doing that.

Blasphemy of the 3rd person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, will not be forgiven. Why we don't know. But in His personhood He is distinct from the Father and Son.

i have a few i've known for years.
not a one. not a single, solitary one. and i GREW UP with these people.
i guess i must be that bad association theyre always saying spoils useful habits :P

sadly i did not go away. i'm still trying to correspond with this guy and make sense of what basically amounts to the huge runaround he's giving me, and it's getting sort of funny although a little frustrating...if i get a straight answer from them i'll be sure and post it....but dont hold your breath, kids!
