okay, i know this is completely geeky, but it has been really bothering me this whole time that the thread subject contains a double negative.

When women say: "OH! You're too big... I can't take all of you!"
LOL...yeah, i've heard that's a common problem among imaginary women... :P

Welcome, leslane!!!
hon, i was in a very similar situation not very long ago...my parents put ENORMOUS pressure on me to get baptized...whatever you do, hold out till you can move out, it will make your life so much easier in the long run! usually if my parents approached me about it, i'd just make myself start crying and say that i regarded the issue VERY seriously, that i thought of it as a huge step and that i didnt think jehovah would appreciate it if i took it lightly, so i needed more time to "fully commit myself" to jehovah and draw closer to him. then, when i turned eighteen...POW! I was outta there and never had to look back!
keep your chin up, girl. :)

Loved & Lost?
by StinkyPantz indo you agree with this quote?
"'tis better to have loved and lost.
than never to have loved at all.

That's just me ... obviously most people agree with you.
northern girl...i would have completely agreed with you not so long ago...i never thought i did want to fall in love...but corny as it sounds (and i know it sounds COMPLETELY corny!) , it happened and it totally changed my perspective. but that's probably just my youthful naivete showing it's face again ;) after all, i've only experienced the love bit, not the loss bit.
