Rub, point well taken. I'm sure you and I one and one would find common ground over a few drinks.
But I'm just tired of irresponsible people tearing down Trump and America. This is a great place to live. The only way to keep that way is to keep big government out of our way. Most of the loudest complainers have a place to live, and a stomach, entertainment etc. Just quit complaining, take some personal responsibility, and achieve something. Anyone can do it in America if they want to.

Binary choice. Trump is not a politician and has his rough edges, but has fought the cancer of liberalism while fighting unprecedented attacks from a grossly biased media, extreme left Dems, and even the elitist RINO's who should be supporting him.
I live in Oregon. The Dem controlled govts. are in financial chaos, support Marxists ideals, raising taxes to prop up their uncontrolled spending, divisive racial issues in a world where people of color already have more rights than others, enforce 'mask' edicts and banning church groups while letting leftist idiot 'protesters' run wild, re-writing American history as evil, and attempting to destroy our 2nd amendment rights. And I can go on an on. This is the group Biden represents. NO THANKS.
Any of you who support Dems/Biden (including you Rub) no longer support American values and the Constitution they were built on. Chatter all you want, but if you get your way, America as we know it will no longer exist and will (as history proves- see Venezuela etc.) plunge into third world status where only the elites enjoy the good life so many average Americans now have.
Question: If, as you leftist anti-Americans suggest, America is and has been such a racist terrible place, WHY have people from all over the world banged the doors down to get in here? And they continue to!
Rub, your not so subtle violent verbiage 'If Michelle ran, she would put a baseball bat up Trumps butt and only the handle would be visable' is showing through. You leftist's act like you're non-violent, but constantly verbally and even physically attack those who disagree with your screwed up rhetoric. I've never asked the government for anything, never had trouble with the law, and worked my ass off to get what I have. This despite the JW end of the world stuff I lived with for 40 years. If your Antifa punks really want to fight, at some point they will get it, and I guarantee you they will badly lose.
My request, take your Marxist shit and put it up your own ass. I apologize in advance for sounding so angry- but I'm done with this leftist nonsense.

frankly, i can't be bothered with the bullshit anymore.. honestly, your politics and the whole virtue signalling woke brigade has actually started causing real deaths and was ruining life for many before that.. if you can't control your disease, then i'll do it for you.. it's not open for debate..

JP 1692:
There isn't much of the liberal agenda I personally agree with. I believe upper echelons of the US govt. (both Dems/Repubs), led by Clinton and Obama and their unelected bureaucrats, are very corrupt, in China's back pocket, and despise Trump because he's upsetting their game plan. Flush out this corruption (if possible my cynical side says). But name calling from either side (including Obozo etc) only makes things worse and solves no problems. I appreciate Trumps boldness and agree with his response to the many personal attacks he experiences, but think he sometimes needs to reign it in a bit- again my average guy opinion.

I find it really ironic that some who have awakened and left the dogmatism and unquestioning fanatical zeal of the JW’s mentally transfer the same way of thinking to partisan politics. I am a former JW and a Trump supporter. I realize Trump is a flawed man and I understand why some people- mostly those who believe a big government will benignly take care of them in some way(s) - are attracted to liberal causes. What’s ironic to me is ex-JW’s who blindly hate anything and everything Trump does and stands for. They refuse to see that it is the same cultish mentality. I can produce many examples, but one that strikes me for the total hypocrisy is the childish references to Trump as the ‘orange man’ or when commentator/comedian (?) Bill Maher referred to him as the son of an orangutan. Can you imagine the hysterical reaction of the media if any well-known personality had referred to former President Obama as the son of an ape, or derided him for his skin color?
I believe people vote (myself included) for what they believe will give them the best edge over others in our competitive society. But blind hatred, a refusal to respectfully debate/reason, and angry name calling of those who disagree with us politically is the same exact cultish mentality we left behind in JW.org.

Beroean Pickets- please offer encouragement
by Lightgrowsbrighter infor many who have left jw.org, there is still a spiritual need and faith in the bible.
beroean pickets is one group/website where serious bible research and commentary, weekly critical reviews of wt studies, as well expose's of flawed wt opinion/doctrine- all backed by the bible- can be considered.
this vast amount of work and research is all done by just a small group of our volunteer brothers and sisters.

Agreed that on the grand scheme this action against Eric will not bring down the org. But I do think it will make sincere Bible students (sorry for the retro reference there...) still in who may dare venture outside of the org to take note of a Judicial Action against a Brother for simply pointing out, from the Bible, false JW teachings. Who's REALLY apostate, men who demand your lock-step allegiance (the GB), or a man simply pointing out false teachings while not looking for or wanting followers?

Agreed dub. I hope this one gives the WT a lot of negative publicity as the org cannot prove him wrong from the Bible. Only for having the nerve to publicly point out false Bible teachings from the Bible. Could backfire on the org big time.

I know those who leave the org (myself included) go in many directions- including nihilism. I agree that there are seemingly contradictory things in esp. the Old Testament. My point with this post tho is that some continue to be Christians and that does require faith as 1 Cor. 2:14 says...which can look like fiction to those who have lost their faith. The Beroean Pickets site is a comfort for those who've gone this direction after leaving the org.
As far as who said the Org is after him- he said so himself on his youtube channel- here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3AM5L9s5vQ
Those who have met Eric in person know for a fact he's not seeking followers after himself like Russell/Rutherford did. 'It's not about who's carrying the torch, it's about the light.'

For many who have left JW.org, there is still a spiritual need and faith in the Bible. Within the past month, the org- led by local elders- has launched a Judicial Committee with the charge of apostasy against Brother Eric Wilson, one of the founders of this amazing website. More details will follow, but it is shocking to see how the WT organization is sinking to the level of a paranoid cult. Indeed, IMHO, the WT led by the Governing Body is guilty of apostasy themselves and fit perfectly the description of the 'evil slave' in Matt. 24:48-51. I encourage all of you who wish to prove the WT wrong from the Scriptures to go to the Beroean Pickets website and show your support for Eric Wilson as well as many of the others who still choose to remain anonymous.

Do most ex JW's go politically left?
by Lightgrowsbrighter ini've found it interesting that- imho- most of the politically vocal ex-jw's at this website seem to lean left.
i'm personally pretty centered- right on some issues, left on others, but overall have a pretty cynical view of all political/religious leaders.
i find it somewhat ironic that people who leave such a dogmatic group like the witnesses become so politically dogmatic.

Overall, thanks for the nice response's! Some impassioned and even vitriolic responses- dogmatic?- but I guess that's to be expected. There is no denying that as active JW's, we were told to be politically neutral, but politically JW's would be right with sexuality, and left with some social issues. Perhaps it's a knee jerk reaction when people leave the Borg to become impassioned and even dogmatic about some other issue. Still, it seems really hypocritical to me to see dogmatic and insulting comments about people we disagree with after being involved with a controlling group like the JW's that thrive on that kind of behavior.
