Hi JH,How about a whole territory that the friends would not go into? How about a whole territory that the Society gave special instructions on how to work it,and when not to work it.
Hasidim territory!The Hasidics don't take lightly proselytizing in their community.What have you experienced,or know of anyone who has experienced the disapproval of the Hasidics when trying to work their territory?
I am in no way trying to pigeon-hole the behavior of all Hadsidims.Just asking if anyone has had a bad experience when going into their territory and trying to preach to them.
The Society has given strict rules on how to preach to the Hasidem territory,so ,they must of had some serious concerns for the welfare of those going into that territory.And had some bad reports from the C.O.on the efforts made and resistance shown in this area.
JH what do you know about this and have you experienced for yourself what it is like to witness in their community.That's a whole lot of door.

Moral Compass (conscience)?

what explains the fact that all of us have what is known as a "moral compass",a conscience that signals us ,red flag so to speak, when we act a certain way.were we born with it,is it in-built,is learned?we know that animals have instincts,but they have no moral compass.if we are not a product of someone's creation and we evolved where did this moral compass,conscience come from?

Scammed Spiritually.

when one is scammed by spam,what appears to be helpful is no help at all.you trust the message,do what it says,and you end up losing.. i believe that we can also be scammed spiritually.it happens when supposed teachers of the bible distort it and proclaim a false message which they claim to be the truth.and this can happen with any so-called holy book of all faiths based on a belief system.. so,how can we avoid such a scam,in other words being scammed by spiritual spam.all of us want help at one time or another,we all want to be able to put our trust in someone or something.. is the ever-changing "word of god" rife with contradictions and inconsistencies?is christianity the biggest scam/hoax ever perpetrated through force,torture and murder in the name of god,christ or whoever just as many of the other isms too?.

The Society claims that the Watchtower is the foremost instrument of the watchman class,anointed ones represented by the governing body,fds.
While we know the names of the members of the governing body,the Watchtower remains an Unsigned Work.We do not know who is writing the confusing,contradictory information about the anointed,governing body ,fds,other sheep in the latest Watchtower articles.
This makes all that is written suspect as to who is who when it comes to dispensing the spiritual food at the proper time.
It has been written in the feb 15 WT.that the other sheep have just as if not more understanding of God's word as the anointed do.That the anointed have no special knowledge.
Aso that the other sheep are God's son too!JAN issue.That they have his spirit in them also,but cannot partake of the emblems at the memorial.Confusing to say the least.JW'S are being scammed.

Explaining the inexplicable.

i'm working on some marketing stuff for a novel i wrote, based a bit on my experience as a dub.
i realized that the reason i ended up with a novel (my first attempt was non-ficiton) was because so much of what we did just doesn' make sense, and i wanted to immerse my readers in a fictional cult world to explain how these people think.

How does one avoid such a scam? I don't know anymore,after being scammed by the WT.Society for over 30 yrs.I'm questioning whether or not the Bible is actually inspired by God or is a product of men.
That includes all supposedly other holy books out there with there claims to the truth.
For now I am at an impasse.I can't for the life of me explain what you call the inexplicable.There is a frustrating and emotional tug of war going on within me for the past two yrs that is ongoing.And I have read dozens of books for and against,Too many to list here and still can't make a conclusion either way.Impasse is where I'm at now.

Panic Attacks
by rebel ini don't know if this subject has been touched on before - i didn't know what section to put it under.. i have to go to the meeting this sunday - basically emotional blackmail by my husband (long story).
i have suffered from panic attacks in the past.
when i don't go to the meetings, and my family do, i get very panicky and breathless.

Hi REBEL,Two soft cover books that were very helpful when I suffered from Anxiety & Panic Attacks:Hope and Help For Your Nerves by Dr.Claire Weekes and Anxiety & Panic Attacks by Robert Handly with Pauline Neff.
When I used to feel an attack coming on I would reach for these books and read the underlined portions and a calmness would come back to me.
Now my attacks are very few.I have not taken any medication at all.However,you do what's best for you.

GARYBUSS,You are so right.Doublespeak in one paragraph.Par.16.Just because we answer scriptual questions,it does not mean we are anointed.
Then they say God has an arrangement,pointing back to themselves by citing and inferring to MATTHEW 24:45---47.
So,they are the FDS. not because they answer spiritual questions,but,because they are anointed.
Now the other sheep can also do a good job in answering questions,but, they are not anointed.because they are not the FDS.
FDSand only FDS.are the ones who provide spiritual food and they do it without having extraordinary understanding??? Because they are anointed?
Doublespeak is hard to make sense out of.Because it's nonsense.
