It was normal to give forst time speakers, the first half of a public talk, and another brother the other half. So that is just restoring that, from years gone by.

Starting in 2018 there are 4 public WT's a year. These all carry a theme, and no date. From time to time there maybe be reissues of one or more offered as current.
Starting a few weeks ago the main study WT also known as the dumbed down issue has been replaced by the even dumber dumb down WT study issues!

Not JW related, but should the electoral college be abolished?
by Billzfan23 inelizabeth warren, alexandria ocasio cortez, and other democrats are openly expressing interest (and in come cases, campaign promises) that the electoral college has to go.
i disagree for a few reasons.
first, the 25 states (out of 50, so 50%) with the smallest populations only get 21% of the electoral college votes (in our current system, today).

We do not have one Election, we have 50 of them with Each State holding its own election. The simple reason it's set up this way is to prevent, a small handful of states, from running everything!!!
This like so many things used to be taught in school, and everyone understood it well!!!!

Lazy field service

people where i live are shamelessly lazy, they drive door to door even when the houses are 3 feet apart!

Back in the 60's & 70's most of us really believed that the end was about to hit us all in the face!!! Like always, there were many that were in it, just incase. From 12 on I was out 100 long hard hours, each and every month. Money was tight, gas was high. We would drive to an area, and walk almost the whole thing, before moving the car, and doing some more. We carried packed lunches, and a big water cooler, and find a park or shade tree to eat at.
After 75 came a went, everything started to change, slowly at first, and picked up speed.
I know it really impacted me, and my attitude in ways I didn't notice for some time. I saw many long time friends just disappear, never to be seen again.
Compared to back then, FS is a silly kids JOKE!!! Even with the CA along for the ride!!!!
