Yes there is!! I have a long time friend in the legal dept. A few times over the years, he has told me stuff that just blew my mind. but like everything else, I just tucked it away, like all good little jw's!!

Well the court is a part of the political system, and even more so when it comes to dealing with law's. Courts in the US aren't supposed to write law's but do so anyway!
At the summer RC/DC/IC whatever they want to call it. We were told not to even get upset or excited, over laws that could or would impact or lives, for the good or bad. Because that was taking sides in Politics!!Another case of do as i say, not as I do!!!!

2014 Annual Meeting not being streamed worldwide?
by Richard_I ini haven't heard a peep about the 2014 annual meeting being shown worldwide (or at least across north america) like it was last year.
they made a big deal with the am last year, congs had to get the projectors and screens for the showing, and we were told in advance of the time and location to attend.
but i have heard absolutely nothing this year, at least here in canada.

What does semimonthy mean
by bobld inyes,i know what it means however,the gb of the wbts does not.they said the study edition apears once a month and is not offered to the public.the study edition(has 32 pages) and the public edition(has 16 pages) of the watchtower are not two different magazines.per their wt of jan.15/2008.. on page 2 of their oct.15/2014 public wt they say it is published semimonthy.
page 3 they say nearly 46 million copies of each issue are printed.also their study edition is published semimonthymy understanding, the public issue is on the 1st of the month and the study is on the 15th month only one copy of ea issue.someone please explain the discrepancies.. .

Children being baptised - Aid book v Insight book
by berrygerry ina pet peeve (major) is that of the gb pressuring kids to be baptized.. checking the aid book today and the following under baptism, no infant baptism.. virtually word for word between the books, except for the deletion of this paragraph:.

I don't remember the contexts, but an elder in his part on the SM, said something about talking to a person on the steps of a church. And after whoever walked away, he stood there for a moment, and said quitely, "God Damm! This Place!"
A water cooler elder (real butt head) giving the local needs part about associating with DFed people. Said, "These are Wicked, Vile, Evil people, why would you even want to be near them, much less talk to them!) All said with, all the HATE, and DISCUST, he could muster! I would not spit on him, if he was on fire!

What will the next "witness" fad illness be??
by stuckinarut2 inas we know, it seems that many witnesses "suffer" from "illnesses" at times.. now , before anyone scolds me for being insensitive or unfeeling, i am not mocking those who really suffer from illnesses of any sort.
i am having a go at those that jump on the bandwagon of the popular illness, which actually makes real sufferers feel jaded.. i am referring to the way that many witnesses who are actually damaged as a result of the constant "fear.obsession.guilt" of jw propaganda, often seem to "contract the current illness going around", or blame it on that instead of looking at the real cause.. im sure it is a subconcious result of the burdensome pressure of jw life that brings it on.
instead of seeing the draining effect on their lives as being the result of witness life, they will latch on to the next illness going around.. so, what is the latest going to be?.
