  What is spirit, exactly?

  i've always wondered that.

  recently i asked that question on another thread and didn't really get ananswer.

  cofty made an excellent point that we often hear what it isn't, but that really isn't useful.. so, what is it?

  Prologos, your answer is a metaphor meaning "I don't know" since you can't actually explain what it is. We have the "don't know" topic covered.

  Dinosaurs.

  as a jw i always believed that dinosaurs at one point existed.

  my whole family did, almost all the jws i knew did.

  one time i was out for dinner, and one of the people with us was convinced that they never existed.

  It is only speculation on your part that the force that give us sentience and animation is imaginary.

  Agreed, chemistry and physics is certainly not imaginary!

  Except that Vivane can't speak for everybody. If she claims to, then she is lying.

  Of course I didn't make that claim. It's silly to even suggest it.

  We don't all agree that we are no closer to answer, though it's obvious that Viviane is no closer and possibly will never be closer to an answer.

  Agreement? What does that have to do with anything? No one has provided an answer, what is spirit comprised of? What is the stuff that makes up angels and demons? What is "life force" comprised of?

  If you know, please tell us. Otherwise, we are no closer to an answer than we were when this thread started. Please let me know if or when you have something of value to contribute.

  In the context "we" would mean everybody.

  There is no club of unbelievers.

  Of course not. I say "we"because the people who claim to know surely aren't providing any clues or help. It would appear they have no idea either, hence the "we". It's all of us on this thread.

  I told you exactly who I was talking about. Read it again if you don't understand and let me know which specific portions you are struggling with.

  We still have no idea what any type of spirit is. You are included in that. If you did, you would have said so. Instead you have chosen to focus on making ignorant assertions about me. Let me know when or if you have anything of value to contribute.

  FHN, let me know if you ever have anything of value or relevance to contribute.

  And yes, it's my thread. Everyone posting here is the "we" I refer to. I can confidentally say that since, if anyone here had the slightest clue what spirit of any type mentioned was conmprised of, they would have said so. So far, we have no clue.

  Well i think you have lost both the" WE" and the" SPIRIT" a good healthy thread needs.

  Do you know what spirit is comprised of? If not, we are still no closer to an answer.
