The emptiness of science may explain the rise of fundamentalism...
by cognisonance inneurophilosopher, thomas metzinger says in his book:.
the ego tunnel: thescience of the mind and the myth of the self.
the ego evolved as an instrument in social cognition, and one of its greatest functional advantages was that it allowed us to read the minds of other animals or conspecifics and then to deceive them.

I view science and full of wonder and new discovery, the opportunity to better ourselves, to rise above and be amazing. I view it as the opposite of empty. -

Yes, preferences are currently stored in a cookie - I have plans for a more comprehensive user-settings page to house all options and link them to the profile but right now if you don't save cookies, you don't keep settings.
I figured as much. Such are the trials of private browsing.

think the private mode will not save your settings Viviane. Or else it could be the cookie for this site needs to be deleted as it may be corrupt.
I am pretty sure private browsing will delete everything, that's why I suggested tying to the profile.

Another thing that could be nice is to remember our settings, like I change the views on everything to 20, turn off snippets, etc.Anytime I sign out and then back in I have re-do those. Remembering that, or maybe being able to set it as a profile preference would be nice.
I do use Firefox and have my browsing set to private mode. -

"Islam does not mean peace it means submission", Anjem Choudary
by adjusted knowledge ini was watching the news and came upon an interview with brigitte gabriel on muslim extremists.
what caught my attention was the above quote.
the reason is, it brought back what an elder recently told me about our faith in the governing body.. i will paraphrase what he told me below:.

Evidently Sharia law has reared it's ugly head in Florida by the Democrats
You do realize the article you linked to say that is 100% backwards, right?

In a way they are like Jehovah's witnesses on steroids, they tear everything down.
That implies there is or should have been something of value there in the first place.
