No, it's for people who want objective evidence about reality. I in no way consider it nonsense to post on threads like this. Even though you clearly have an agenda, to preach, rather than learn, it's always nice to make sure you aren't getting airtime all alone and potentially trapping others in your ridiculous world view.

Golden Rule: Pure Garbage?

she said it was arrogant and made assumptions.. i didn't want to derail that thread so i started another wondering if this is a common thought about this belief on this forum.
i guess i naively thought the value of doing to others as you want them to do to you was generally accepted as positive.. i understand people have different opinions of jesus as a person but i don't want to get into that here.

The reason it works is not because of the golden rule itself being good, it's because we are acting in ways that that are generally acceptable in society and are societal norms. When different cultures meet, it often ends in misunderstanding, sometimes hilarious, sometimes deadly, when the golden rule is applied. -

Shall I start in the volumes of Darwin's Theory of Evolution, in the manipulated history books, or in the false archaeological claims, or never mind all that - why don't I just ask you, as you seem to have all the answers.
