You quoted the bible out of context and mock anyone who disagrees with you.
I am thinking Viviane is an undercover elder.
You spelled "an idiot" wrong.
And, I didn't take anything of context.
last night a young man in a bar struck up a conversation with me.
our town is having our pride parade soon and he brought it up, the bible and how it's against the bible.
me being me, i said that i couldn't care less that it was against the bible and that it was a horrible guide for morality anyway.

one or two of you have noticed that i use derogatory terms when talking about matters religion.
i offer no apology.
you do, however, deserve an explanation.. my father, bless him and now dead, was a survivor of belsen, the german concentration camp.
I tried to be the good guy but, strangely enough, I have integrity. Not to you, not to anyone else, to me.
I tried to refrain from posting insults but it's not who I am. It felt wrong and it felt dishonest.
Besides, all you guys are playing it slowly, slowly catchy monkey.
You spelled "ignorant" wrong.

As usual, he tried to pretend the OT didn't matter. When I pointed out that Jesus said the Law would not pass away and was a good thing and an observant Jew, he said that 1)Jesus (and I quote here) "weren't no Jew" and that 2) Jesus never said that. When I pulled up an online Bible on my phone and showed him, he then said there was no way to know what Law Jesus was talking about, it could mean anything. He insisted there was no such thing as the Law because Jesus would never say the old testament was good.
Wow. Just... wow. That was some weapons grade derp.
a 3 part documentary based on neil shubin's work and narrated by him is currently being shown on bbc 4.. part 1 is on i-player now and part 2 is live right now.. 180 minutes of clearly presented evidence for evolution including the discovery of tiktaalik.
outstanding!.
the reason i entitled this "problems with common atheist arguments" instead of "the case against atheism" is that many atheists claim that atheism is not a belief system, makes no claims, and has no requirements to follow, so there's no way to argue against atheism itself.
i will go along with this idea, and argue against the most frequently used arguments of atheists instead of atheism itself.disclaimer # 1: this is not an argument against atheism or all atheists.
no, rather this is an argument against the most frequently used claims and arguments made by the atheists i speak to on twitter.

Viviane winning another theist over to enlightened non-belief, I see ...
In what way are you imagining that was my goal?

Viviane, you will say what you will say. I have the same affliction I've just applied much longer unless you are in your 7th decade that is. Who knows.
For whom does the bell derp? It derps for thee.
OK, that was fun, but I am off to greener pastures.
