Quality Thinking - Warning: Long Post Ahead
by Viviane inrecently, several threads have had some debate about logic, evidence, critical thinking and skepticism.
i wanted to write a post discussing those things, hopefully to clarify what those things are, why they are important and how to use those tools.
first, logic, at its core, is simply a method for how to reason validly, how to draw conclusions based on a premise.

the prophecy says he will be fierce-looking, deceptive, efficent in his doings, smart and causing ruin to many.
and he will exalt himself.

At this moment Donald Trump seems to be very similar to the description in Daniel.
Donald Trump is not a king, therefore rendering the prophecy moot with regards to him.

Unless I am mistaken and you know what a slacker I am and I trust you to correct me if I am, weren't there 3 version of Daniel? and the modern bible has the least crazy sounding of the 3?
There was Daniel, Daniel with some extra stuff, then an addition to Daniel hundreds of years later. The modern Bible is an amalgamation of all three.

There is no prophecy in Daniel that has ever been fulfilled.
With regard to this prophecy, I do not know of any king now ruling that fits this description.

Maybe I do not comprehend the critical thinking skills capable of weighing up the evidence. But then again what % of people who bother voting have a clue?
I know. It's scary that people who freely admit they may not having basic critical thinking skills are allowed to vote. Even scarier when they don't even know they don't have the skills or what they are.
Anyway the key word is facts not opinion. And I accept my opinion may be different from facts, And facts are certainly different from Jehovers Witnesses irrefutable facts. And facts are also often different from the opinion of expert witnesses, and sometimes those who think themselves experts.
Which has nothing to do with you saying you would do research and get back with your thoughts on this thread. Have you done that?

which is a complement to all those who have participated in what is perhaps a controversial subject.
There is no controversy, it's mainly just lazy, stupid people with a platform to speak. (not people here, moon-truthers).
