No one went to the moon.
That is 100% true.
so i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

Recently, the past year, there were articles and news stories about some sort of force field (NOT the magnetic field), that circles Earth but goes out 8,000 miles which would supposedly protect from killer electrons.
*sigh*.... that's not what the article says.
Since the moon is beyond this, could lead credibility to it not have happening.
No, it does not. What leads to incredulity is a lack of basic science education and critical thinking skills
I do wonder how they so quickly were able to put man on the moon so long ago yet a year or 2 ago I read USA wanted to do it again but it would take at least 11 years. If we had already done it, why would it take so long to do it again?
Then, if you truly wonder, I would suggest you look into it. The answer is quite simple.

Who cares? Believe what you want - except what the JWs are teaching.
Because this type of thinking is the same type of thinking that leads to anti-vaccination crusades. It's a symptom of a lack of critical thinking and reasoning skills, a demonstration of an inability to evaluate evidence and recognize reality. It hurts us all.

Viviane: I've removed your images - they are not appreciated. If you don't want to discuss the topic then don't post on the thread.
Understood, although I have to confess at this point I am unclear what the topic is. Whether or not the moon landing happened is the topic of the thread, evidence was presented in favor of that man having landed on the moon. Counter-evidence was not presented because there is none.
Now the topic seems to be whatever Rebel doesn't doesn't bother to research about the moon, NASA, the space program, etc.
Rebel, would you mind clarifying what the topic is at this point?

Thanks Viv, your images don't require answering a question, nor do they require deeper meaning, and therefore you can escape answering the puzzle of deeper meaning which my question challenged you . I do believe you can't answer my question.
Of course I can. I simply choose, again, to not do your research or critical thinking for you. That's become something of a theme on this thread of ever shifting topic. You ask an easily answered question, refuse to do even basic research, then complain when others won't do it for you, even after a kinder soul actually does the research for you and you don't bother to attempt to understand it.

Why are you still feeding this attention seeking troll?
I ran out of books to read when I'm pooping, this fills the time.

Rebel, you're intellectually lazy, willfully ignorant and have zero critical thinking skills.
RunForever, you're exactly the same same, just more overtly ignorant and uninformed with a side of pride in your ignorance. Rebel relishes his ignorance, but doesn't boast of it.

This thread has stirred more passion from our American posters, and it is they who seem most offended and challenged by the question " IF" the moon landing happened.
As usual, you're wrong. You've simply made uninformed and inflammatory comments and promoted making people dumber and gotten a reaction. Congratulations, you could be a politician and that is literally the nicest thing I could of to say about you, even with the surfeit of information about you.

Oubliette, I wish you wouldn't belittle my point with a picture, the school is an exceptional school that archives much higher than average national results.
So, that school specialized in inquiry based learning. Asking questions, examining and evaluating evidence and using critical thinking are part of the curriculum.
What does that have to do with a faux debate or your son's school?
