  Viviane...The best science of the day and accepted around the world was to cut a portion of the stomach out for stomach ulcers...fact. Until new scientific light said otherwise. New light they resisted for many years.

  It's not often someone proves themselves wrong without being asked to. Good job!

  What you just wronte has nothing to do with knowing the case of an ulcer. Fact. Thank you for yet again showing your lack of qualifications and errors in thinking in voicing your opinion.

  Surgeons cutting out stomachs has nothing to do with science proving it wasn't necessary, nor does equating learning more with making up more.

  Your derision is apparent and misplaced and simply shows how little know of science or how it works. Basically, you're showing that you've an opinion not worth anything.

  My two bobs worth. I once did a brief study of science and scientists. That industry is riddled with all the usual jealousies, hates, accusations, scams and straight up lies that religions are blighted with.

  Apparently a "bob" is worth zero.

  At the same time, you got be careful not to misplace your trust in "science." That would be idolatry too. It's just people's ideas. Some sound, some not so sound.

  So get off the internet, stop driving, taking medicine, using the internet, taking a plane, a train, eating, turning on your lights, drinking water, etc., because all of that comes to you courtesy of the same science you deride.

  even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

  the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

  Richard, it's clear (assuming you aren't playing dumb) that you don't know much about the JWs. You've shown a willingness to make things up, to dismiss reality and either minimize or maximize things to suit your agenda.

  Having never been a JW and not knowing much about them, what is your agenda in defending them?
