My Explanation of God.

i am a theist & this is my version of god.. instead of using the term god, i'll use "unseen presence".. this unseen presence, is perfect in every way.

this presence is so perfect it can seem a bit boring.this perfection can be seen in the laws of science, for example gravity.. it does not sometimes work, depending on the mood of some one in the sky, it always works, perfectly.

he basic Atheistic assumption about reality is that you CAN trust your empirical senses as a measurement for reality. I find it ironic that the very title of his book assumes that people can in fact have a Delusion of reality based on their senses.

Atheism makes no assumptions about reality. Neither does science (which, in fact, has shown we cannot trust our senses quite often).

Truth manifests itself in absolute laws that are fixed [not capricious or random] 1+1 will always = 2; that law of logic is a reliable method of reasoning [There is no such thing as a married bachelor] etc.. I would be willing to go toe to toe on any Atheist on this board who insists on defending a universe without any absolutes.

You can know simultaneously know the absolute position and absolute speed of a particle.

Who or What is the Holy Spirit?

tradition within christianity has long been that any time the phrases holy spirit, holy ghost, or spirit of godare used in the bible (especially in the new testament), it always refers to the mysterious third divine person of the trinity, who is fully god, co-equal to the father and son, yet somehow distinct.. i want to present a simplified alternative view: let the context determine the meaning!.

(one thing to keep in mind is that the meaning of the bible words used for spirit basically is unseen force or invisible presence.).

Could it be the Holy Spirit is the incredible automation that exists in the universe which possibly includes Karma and 'The Force be with you' type phenomena presented in the Star Wars movies.

What automation? Which "tasks" (implying a purposeful mind with a goal) are automated? How can we detect this automation? What would be the sign of something being automated and something not being automated? Karma is not at all like the Force in Star Wars. How are you imagining karma automating things? Which things are being automated and why do they need automation?

Regardless of whether someone is an Atheist, Spiritual or Religious, I am of the opinion many people would agree to the possibility such a force exists.

Of course it's possible. It's also possible there is are microscopic rhinos made of unicorn spoons mating while in orbit around Pluto. You've exactly as much evidence for both.

Some people are good at tapping into it and others 'sin' against it.....for example blowing people up in the name of their God.

Wait, I thought it was an automating force? Now it's a moral force? What is this force made of? A field? A particle? If humans can tap into it, we should be able to detect. What would you propose as a means of detection?

I'm well aware of it. You've still all your work ahead of you if you expect to move from meaningless deepity that's not even wrong to saying something that can be evaluated in context that comports with reality.

You're correct, I'll revise "Unseen Presence" to "Unknown Presence", so as to not imply that it can be seen.

So you now know nothing about your claims?

I'm using Math in my Response, because Math is the only "Thing" that is Absolutely Perfect.

In what sense is math perfect? Mathematics is a study of numbers. You say that math is either one thing or another. If you can't tell me what it is and in what sense it is that thing, how can you claim it is perfect?

Are you saying, that Cooperation is not needed for Species to evolve?

I in no way say that. I said that evolution often involved competetition.

When we hurt another person, we feel bad. - We shouldn't hurt people.

There are times when it's absolutely the right thing to do to hurt someone, or to lie to someone. We don't know yet how to cure cancer. Is that something we should know? We don't know how to stop pedophiles from attacking? Is that something we need to know? By advocating not learning more, you're essentially advocating allowing bad things to continue happening.

I'll answer your question with a question.. What evidence is there for Math? Do we invent math or does it already exist?

You're not answering a question with a question, you're attempting to conflate two things that are unrelated in an attempt to avoid showing a lack of ability to answer basic questions about your assertion.

Everything that is know to exist, is a result of the Unseen Presence.

You've failed to establish that this unseen presence exists. What is your evidence for it?

The original commandment is not seen, it is Known by All.. It is Hardwired in our DNA. It is Evolution. Do all that you can do for yourself, while not hurting anyone else, and you are faithful to the command. Work together when at all possible, compete when absolute necessary.

All of that is quite a bit more than "evolve". Evolution is in many way a competition, contradicting your other words. How do you reconcile this? Where can I find any evidence anything you are saying is based in reality?
