  Untrue. He did not trot out any "hysterical woman" BS. BOTR has yet to show any behavior that even come close to what she is claiming.

  Anyhow, all you know-it-alls who want to be RIGHT, regardless of the damage left in your wake, you carry on, keep on making more staunch believers. lol

  Let me assure that my character is fine. Cofty is no gentleman. This battles just goes on and on. It is tiring and boring. Rather than convert people, you push readers away. It reminds me of Sartre's No Exit. Yes, a believer knows French existentialism. Cofty became a bully somewhere.

  And so far you have produced nothing but insults with no proof of the slings and arrows you have suffered (and no one else can find or remember them either).

  Why can't there be a truce? Every argument has already been made. No one has the right to demean me. We are demeaned frequently. A true scientist would not be so rude.

  There is no battle, right now it's just you saying how Cofty is being terrible and not providing proof. You are the only one demeaning you with your own actions. A rational person would not be so rude to themselves.

  So calling God a moral monster is less tactful that being told you'll be tortured for all eternity, as was done on that very thread on the third post?

  "The most important decision you'll ever make (and everyone must make the same decision) is whether or not to believe the Gospel (Good News) of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's the only way to escape the torments and fires of Hell for all eternity."

  So calling God a monster is worse than being told you'll be tortured forever? It sounds like the issue now is atheists are being nicer than some Christians.

  It is maniacal. Yes, I am a lawyer. No, I will not be a quiet fool.

  You are being a loud fool. You can't or won't provide an example of what you are talking about and are using ridiculous hyperbole. I have trouble believing someone that can't seem to put together a coherent argument is a well respected lawyer as you claim.

  As you wrote, this is not normal behavior.

  My problem is with the tone, not the content, of atheist posts, as well as the threadjacking that DJS and I were referring to. In other words, it boils down to respect.

  Unless insults are being thrown, the tone comes from the reader. I notice, though, that you only have as problem with atheists posts, not any other kind.

  It still seems like the issue is when Christianity is treated as not-special.

  Their complaint is simply that they do not like the ideas they are hearing from that minority and they wish they would stop promoting them. Didn't all of us feel that way about the Westboro jerks, even though there's only like 20 of them? It's hard to ignore even a few people when they are in your face.

  So the complaint is still that some atheists are acting like some Christians.

  No one has a right to not hear things the don't like lin public. If there has been a specific incident of someone being told they are scum, they need to show that. Not liking tone or the message.

  A few atheists here ruin the reputation of all atheists. A few atheists lump all believers as fundamentalists who are against science. Nothing is further from the truth. There are no references that Cofty uses, Well, I was already bullied in my life by the WT. He was not so rude and impossible in the past.

  Here is a perfect example of the falsehood you resorted to.

  I assume everyne here is a competent adult. Let Cofty worry abut Cofty. As a poli sci major, I know for a fact that is converting no one. No respect is shown for anyone with a divergent view. He strikes me as no intellect.

  You don't know that for a fact. Another falshood.

  Why flee the WT to have Cofty ruin your life? Resist! I did not say anything for the longest time.

  If words on a screen from someone you don't know on a forum you willingly visit that you recently said you were quitting are what is ruining your life, you have bigger issues that Cofty.
