i guess i naively thought the value of doing to others as you want them to do to you was generally accepted as positive.. i understand people have different opinions of jesus as a person but i don't want to get into that here.
Some people just have a chip on their shoulder and will jump on anything the Bible says as an opportunity to show how much smarter people are now. Probably has something to do with waking up from being a victim of cult thinking...

There re is a rather large group of fossils found in slate (I believe) in Canada that hold several transitional fossils with strange parts and shapes. You can go there and literally see how organisms evolved a step at a time.
