  What did early Christians believe about the dead?

  as witnesses we were truly convinced that we knew the truth about the dead.

  they were truly dead, and we often quoted ecclesiastes 9:4-6, our favourite proof text on that topic, to prove the point.

  i believe anyone who has voluntarily left a cult has shown they can adapt to new solutions, and have used " critical thinking" skills otherwise most would not have left.. yet i believe a safe place for support is still needed and this safe place i believe is searched for.. now i may not measure up to much in ways of education, but for me personally " critical thinking skills" = " new" a " new" way of thinking, that takes time for me the individual to be visual and to contemplate.

  I never claimed to answer every question. Try and stick with reality, please. It a crucial skill for critical thinking (there's some more enlightenment for you). As for the rest of comment, well, failed attempts at sacasm and wit are never pretty.

  STA, "being the bigger person" and accusing someone of exactly your own faults are time honored tactics of someone who has nothing of value to say. On the plus side, you've move into angry accusing and away from whining, so there's movement. Not progress, but movement.

  So then surely critical thinking must mean not taking what you read at face value, or taking a few words from a paragraph, and then holding those words up to the light, whilst leaving the rest of the paragraph in darkness?

  It means the opposite, making as few guesses or assumptions as possible. It's not our job to guess what you mean. It's up to you to say it clearly.

Don't blame "English as a second language" ( you chose to jump in these threads), don't blame me for what you said or not responding the way you want, don't pretend I'm acting as a moderator, don't pretend I've the power to demand anything of anyone or that what you worry about is any way my fault or that I never answer questions of me.

  My god, it's like you just got training wheels.

  Critical thinking is not like computing in anyway. And "garbage in/garbage out" is in no way specific c to databases, be it it oracle, SQL, MySQL, db2, Informix, terradata, exchange or something else.

  You're trying to make a point when you don't even understand the concepts. I don't think you even understand the argument beyond "Viviane did something once that hurt my feelings".

  I've no idea why parsing "may have some skills" is compatible with l"acking" is a problem for you.
