  when somebody posted this on fb, i was anxious to see how ridiculous it would be, probably worse then the gb prophecies, etc.

  after watching the clip, i honestly don't know what to believe.

  at the very least it's very entertaining and interesting.

  Roth was a great front man and had a great voice but their best success came after his departure.

  That's a common mistake.

  Combined sales of Van Hagar albums - 27 million.

  For Van Halen? - 56 million.

  Or we can break it down by album... 6.75 million/album for Van Hagar, 9.33 million/album for Van Halen. Best of Volume 1 contains 10 songs with Roth, 7 with Hagar. Best of both worlds contains more songs from the albums with Roth. Rolling Stone's readers picks are 8 Roth era songs with a whopping 2 for the Hagar era. The top iTunes downloads for Van Halen are 80% Roth era.

  There is literally no measure by which Van Halen is not demonstrably better and more successful than Van Hagar.

  Cofty's "Problem of Evil" thread is an epic one, as is Viviane's "What is Spirit?"

  I was a little disapointed no one even really tried to say what spirit was except an analogy or "I dunno".

  here is an idea i tested.

  works at both assemblies and conventions.

  i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

  If I create an open hotspot using my mobile phone, can those who access it see anything on my device, eg photo's or device information etc?

  Depends on the device and your settings. I recommend 1) the manual and 2) testing it

  When setting it up make it where a password is required them they can't get in. Make it something know one will know, like 1884

  Oh, please don't use that.

  How do you do this???

  As every answer in computing goes, "it depends". Specifically on the device you are using to run the mobile hotspot, whether or not it has those capabilities, etc.Most of them have either a management app or website that should show you the settings and options and, failing, that, a manual :)
